Baekhy&Candy

Baekhyun was back in town and came to visit me at the university. It was three months since I last saw him, in person that is. Lowkey I had a crush on his crazy ass for years but I decided against telling him. He was always touring around the world and I couldn't bring myself to be in a relationship with him and always waiting for him to come back. Though the thought about him coming to see me at university as soon as he landed in the country made my heart flutter.

Baekhyun: Candy come with me please.
Candy: Don't pester me Baekhyun. Go pester your boyfriend Chanyeol I have another class to attend.
Baekhyun: Yah, Chanyeol isn't my boyfriend, we broke up.
Candy: Ok, but I still have class to attend to.

He crossed his arms and looked at me mad. Then he took my hand and started walking.

Baekhyun: Come on then, let me walk you to class.

We arrived just before the teacher entered the classroom.

Baekhyun: Excuse me Mrs. I was wondering, I just landed after three months of tour and came to see my girlfriend as soon as I exited the airport.
Candy: Baekhyun what are you doing?

Baekhyun ignored me and continued.

Baekhyun: So, I wanted to ask for permission, for my girlfriend to be excused from your class, because I'm here for a really short time and I have a surprise for her. Please, if it's not too much of a trouble, since I don't even know when am I going to have a chance to see her next.

The teacher had a soft spot for Baekhyun and she had seen us together goofing around so it was easy for her to believe we are a couple.

Teacher: Ok Baekhyun, but just this time.
Baekhyun: Thank you teacher.

He smiled and winked at her. 'OMG did he just wink at her?' - I thought while looking at Baekhyun wide eyed. He took me by my hand and took me out of university.

Candy: Baekhyun did you have to lie to the teacher?
Baekhyun: I didn't, she was just the first to find out.
Candy: Huh? What's going on in that crazy head of yours?
Baekhyun: Stop asking too much questions and let's grab something to eat.

We grabbed something from a nearby bakery and some coffee and set on a bench in the park to eat. Baekhyun then took me to the amusement park. He bought us lollipops and bought me balloons.

We went on all sorts of rides having fun together. He even won me a cute tiger plushy.

We kept walking around and talking. He bought us slushies

Then we found a bench to sit on. I put the tiger plushy to sit in my lap and Baekhyun tied the balloons to the bench.

Candy: Thank you for today Baekhy. I had so much fun with you.

I pecked his cheek.

Baekhyun: But, I still haven't given you the surprise.
Candy: Oh, I thought that was just an act for the teacher.
Baekhyun: Well thank you for thinking such highly of me, being such a good actor.

He smiled.

Candy: Baekhyun...
Baekhyun: But, I do actually have a small surprise for you. You see, I know you have feelings for me for quite a while now, so I wanted to ask you...

He took out a ring from his pocket, the same as his.

Baekhyun: Do you wanna be my girlfriend Candy?

I almost choked on the slushy.

Candy: Baekhyun I can't.
Baekhyun: But why not?

He pouted.

Candy: Because you are always traveling and I would be here waiting for you.

Baekhyun's smile faded. He looked at me with sadness in his eyes.

Baekhyun: Don't you love me Candy? I know you are always waiting for me to come back, so what's the difference? You only have one more year of university, then you can come and travel the world with me. Don't you love me enough to wait for me one more year? I promise I'll come to watch you graduate, heck I can even bring EXO to your graduation party if you want to. So what do you say? Do you wanna try this with me? Candy, do you wanna be my girlfriend?
Candy: Yes. Ok let's try this together.

I was smiling through tears as Baekhyun put the ring on my finger. He lifted me up in his arms and twirled me around. Then he put me down still hugging me and kissed me. For the first time in seven years I felt his lips on mine. It felt magical. I was now Byun Baek Hyun's girlfriend.
