Chapter 7

Jinx's P.O.V

When Lyrah went up to bed with Jasper I walked out the door. Jace was leaning against his car. I walked up to him and he smirked.

"hey there Jinx, smooth move dating my baby sister." I smikred back at him stepping closer.

"Well she wants she wants me not you. She's mine forever. He pushed off his car and walked closer to me.

"Back off Jinx! She's my blood sister. I love her and she is amazing in every single way." I smirked again cocking my head at him.

"News flash buddy, she's mine remember the ring?" He looked at me with a death glare.

"Back off Jinx, as I said before I lover her and she will never marry someone like you." He stood there as I had a smirk on my face.

"Atleast I didn't leave her when she was at her worst." I turned to walk back into the house but he grabbed my arm.

"Where are you going Jinx?!" I smiled.

"Inside with my fiance." He smirked and let go of my arm.

"You'll never see her again!" I punched him and pulled out a kinfe stabbing him in the chest. He fell to the ground and I opened the back door of the car throwing him in the backseat. I shut the door and slid into the driver's seat. He groaned and I left the house driving to the lake near the the jail.

It started raining so I slowed down a little but stayed at 80. I rounded a curve at 70 driving straight for the lake. I gased it jumping out of the car. I started running back to the house when a cop came out of the jail. Shit! I was in deep if he seen me jump out of that car. Well here goes nothing I thought as he walked up to me.

"Sir, what just happened here?" I was breathing heavily and thought up a quick lie.

"I was out for a run and the started so I slowed a bit. Then out of no where this car comes by probably going over 70 andalmost hit me. I jumped out of the way and the car went in the lake." He was writting it all down and asked if I know anything else like what the guy driving looked like and I just shook my head.

He yelled through a walky-talky at someone. "Ok let's get an ambulance out here fast! You can leave now son thanks for your help. I'm sorry about what happened." I nodded and started runnimg back toward the house. When I stepped inside I touched my head and winced looking at the blood on my fingers. Jasper came downstairs and looked at me then motioned for me to follow him.

"Explain what happened while I clean your wounds." I sighed and winced when he touched my head.

"I drove the car about 80 straight into the lake. I jumped out before the car went over the bridge. A cop came up and asked me what happened. I todl him I was out for a run and that the car came out of no where and almost hit me so I jumped out of the way and the car went in the lake." He chuckled a little and smiled.

"Clever Jinx, very clever. You have to be more careful though. Now you're all cleaned up and Lyrah is shaken up so go lay down with her." I nodded after thanking Jasper and walked to her room closing the door behind me. I took off my pants and shirt climbing into bed behind her. I wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her against me.

I could tell she was smiling so I kissed her neck sliding my hand into her panties. I felt her relax against me. her breathing slowed becoming a soft sound and I knew she fell asleep. I kept my hand where it was but stayed awake a little while thinking. After a few hours of thinking I fell asleep holding the love of my life.
