I looked over at Lyrah getting comfy in the passenger seat. God she was so beautiful and didn't even have to try. I reached over to turn the radio on and when I did I immediately regretted it. I forgot I was listening to You Look Better When I'm Drunk by White tie Affair.

"Skay, you ready to go?" She looked at me and smiled mouthing the words to the song.

"Yeah, Jayson is gonna freak when we come back with Emma." She giggled and turned the radio up as I pulled away from the curb. We were quiet for a few minutes then I could see a little worry on Skay's face knowing she was about to ask me something.

"Jaspie, do you think Jayson will like Emma?" She looked serious now like she didn't want Emma getting hurt.

"Of course Skay, my sister will make him fall for her." She smiled a devious smile and did an evil laugh. I looked at her an raised my eyebrow, even though you can't see it 'cause of my hair.

"What the hell was that for Skay?" She giggled and looked at me in the eyes as I stopped in front my house.

"Your sister is amazing to be so devious about my little brother." She started singing when Cash Cash came on. I grinned thinking about it.

"You're right, she is pretty awesome but if your brother hurts her he's dead." She smiled opening the door.

"I'm ok with that, he annoys me too much as it is, but when he falls in love with Emma he won't even come around me, I don't think anyway." She ran up the driveway and into the house coming back out laughing with Emma. Skay had the most amazing laugh. It sounded like you would imagine an angel's laugh. I shook my head, I can't be thinking this about my first best friend from this city.

"Haha, that was a good one Emma." She laughed as she got back in the front seat and leaned over kissing my cheek.

"Whoa there Skay, didn't expect that coming." She giggled buckling her seatbelt. I chuckled and flashed a smile at Emma through the rearview mirror.

"Nice one bro, like I really wanna see your smile. I see it all the time when you talk non-stop about Lyrah." She grinned and I blushed looking out the window, then I got an idea.

"Well Em, maybe I don't wanna see you smiling when you talk about Jayson all the time." She turned her head looking out the window and I grinned pulling away from the curb turning the radio up again.

"Jaspie, do you really talk about me all the time." I looked over at Skay and smiled.

"Of course Skay, you're my best friend. I always talk about you." She smiled and looked at her phone to check the time.

"Shit! Jaspie, we gotta hurry dinner will be cold in and I promised mom we would be back before it got cold." I reached over and grabbed her hand.

"Calm down Skay, we are almost there." I seen her relax and she smiled when she seen her house. I pulled in the driveway beside her mom's car like I did when I spent the night 'cause her dad was at work most of the time. I turned the radio off and rolled the windows up as Emma got out and went inside. I grabbed Lyrah's hand before she got out and looked into her beautiful electric blue eyes.

"Skay...?" She looked back in my eyes and smiled.

"Yeah?" I leaned in and kissed her deeply.

"When Emma said I talked about you all the time... she wasn't lying and it isn't in a best friend way. I like you alot Skay and no I don't like Lyrik." I smiled and looked into her eyes again waiting to see what she has to say.
