Shut Up and Kiss Me

Chapter 3

Lyrah's P.O.V

I looked up at Jasper and pulled my hand away getting out of the car. I went inside and sat down at the dinner table. I started thinking about all the fun times me and Jasper had had and why I was the only one he who let call him Jaspie. Then again, he was the only one I let call me Skay. Did I secretly like Jasper??? Someone clapped in front of my face and I looked up to see everyone staring at me.

"What? Why is everyone staring at me?" Jasper smiled and I looked at Emma.

"Ly, you spaced out and then asked yourself if you secretly liked my brother." I looked at her and my mouth dropped.

"WHAT?! No I couldn't have." She looked at me and nodded. I got up and ran to my room slamming the door. I slipped out of everything except my black tank top and slid some sweat pants on. I plopped down on my bed and got under the covers. I stayed that way for awhile because I was thinking about us again. I really can't live without Jasper. He's my best friend and means alot to me. He came here to stay the night and hang out until day break. I smiled at the thought of us playing video games and watching movies. I thought about earlier today and laughed out loud. I looked at my phone and seen Jasper had texted me.

'Im sorry Skay, I didn't mean to upset you. I just couldn't hold my feelings for you in anymore....' I frowned feeling a tear run down my cheek. I didn't wanna hurt him, I just want to be alone for awhile but texted him back anyway.

'Just leave me alone Jasper... We can talk tomorrow, you know how I am about relationshps. You know what happened with me and Jinx.... I want him back so bad. I miss him....' I hated talking about Jinx. He was my first love. We did everything together. We got engaged too, until he had to move away the year Jasper came. I want my Jinxie back. If only he came back. Him and Jasper never got along. I don't know why, but I know it was because of me. Jinx never had a phone so I couldn't text him and there was the time change. I looked at my phone again.

'Skay... please don't mention Jinx. You know what he did to you." I huffed throwning my pillow against the wall.

I didn't want to remember that might. The night he left me. I ran out of my room to the door grabbing the knob. Jasper was waiting on the other side. I tried to run towards the stairs but he was too fast, he grabbed my waist and pulled me back. I kicked and grabbed at his arms trying to make him loosen his grip. I was crying and scratched at his arms but he only tightened his grip.

"Let me go Jasper!" He loosened his grip a little but not enough for me to get away.

"LYRAH! Calm the fuck down! Jinx is gone and never coming back. You have to let him go.. you have to...." I stopped kicking and grabbing at his arms again but continued to let the tears run down my cheeks leaving behind black streaks from my eyeliner.

"Why did he leave? Why did he have to leave me...? I miss him...." Jasper loosened his grip letting my feet touch the ground and sighed deeply.

"I wish I could tell you Skay... but I can't I promised... never mind." I looked back at Jasper and he let me go. I fell to my knees not knowing what to do. My first thought was to run but I couldn't because he would just catch me again so I just sat up a little bit. I cryed more as Jasper sat behind me wrapping his arms around me pulling me into his lap. He held me and rocked me in his lap. He put his mouth to my ear and began to talk.

"It'll be ok babygirl. I promise." I turned around looking at him and kissed his cheek. I layed against him for what seemed like forever until I finally decided to tell him I was sorry.

"I'm sorry Jaspie. I just...." I got cut off as he slammed his lips to mine. I pulled away fast and took his hand holding it and layed against him.
