Limitations

I felt Cedric grab my hand before I could get out of the dorm "please don't run." he said in a very calm tone. His voice was fragile. My heart was beating to fast for my liking. How could I say no to him? So I stayed. He hugged me gently. "I like you and I was wondering....well I've been wondering it for a long time..." I hug him back "...would you perhaps like to date me?

Everything stopped. For a moment I felt like the was nothing, no dorm, no school, no friends. Just Cedric and I floating in nothingness. This was not turning out as planned. I was supposed to ask that...but the outcome was the same. We. Together. A couple.

"You don't have to say yes y/n" His voice brought me back to reality. "No. I mean yes. Yes, I want to date you" He could tell my brain wasn't functioning properly and he laughed. He kissed my forehead and pulled my head to his chest I could hear his heart beating.The moment was broken by a knock on the door "Oi Captain! You better not be putting any makeup in there...""We should go" he whispered. I nodded and has he opened the door the quidditch team was all there. We were all stoned by the presence of each other. "Sorry for the interruption Cap' " Cedric rubbed his for head pretending to be annoyed "no problem lads" we all laughed awkwardly and went back to the party.I ran to Susan and Hannah but Diggory intercepted me "Hey y/n... I need to know if you wanna hum-" he looked at the ground. " would you still like to go to that place I told you about in my letter?"I smile widely "of course I would love to" he hugged me awkwardly. Maybe he wasn't ready for a public hug situation or maybe he is just silly like that. Either way, we separated. He went to talk with his teammates and I with my friends.In a matter of minutes, everyone knew about Cedric and I going official. Cheers flooded the room. Hugs came from all directions and just before getting the claustrophobic feeling I was released from all those arms and facing Cedric (very close)We were both red "you think they want us to kiss" he said in a small whisper. "I think they do but we could talk about that landscape we'll be flying over" I looked him in the eyes and we got less red "well..." he looked around in his pockets "I made a list..humm" he held my hand a ran out of the circle to sit on the couch. Everyone was looking, seeing him pretending not to notice was adorable. Soon enough, one by one people got back to their old conversations."So first we would have to meet. At this park, because it's the closest public location" I was amazed. Cedric Good Boy Diggory was taking me to spend an evening on an unknown private property."Granted, the place is not mine but... You will love it" he looked at the paper once more with a confused expression. I looked at it and there were scribbled hearts all around it and a big red heart sticker under and oak tree picture. He realized I was staring, so he folded it quickly and kissed me on the cheek. I wanted to think something was up, but his lips are so soft that nothing matters. "First day of yule holiday break?" He got up very flustered. "Of course!" I said smiling. The Cedric went away again.Susan and Hannah came up behind me "so..." both ringed in my hears " going out with the golden boy are you?" Hannah sad adding a wink after every word. "Indeed I am"

{Time skip to the first day of yule holiday break}

I woke up early in my bed. I didn't understand how I slept know I would be spending the day with my... boyfriend. I ran downstairs and ate some giant cookies Susan sent me. I was very hungry since Cedric and I would be taking way to much food for two people.I left a note to my parents in case they arrived before I did.I arrived at the park Cedric told me (by taxi since this was a muggle inhabiting location) but it was so foggy I could only see blobs of darker grey in the light grey mist. Something hugged me from behind. I screamed "let me go! Don't make me hurt you! I am armed" someone laughed softly "you are thinking about casting Stupefy on me? Maybe Depulso?" I pushed him "Cedric Amos Diggory I will punch you" he laughed so brightly he shined through the mist "I am so sorry darling" he hugged me " I won't do it again" It was hard not to forgive him.We passed the gate and started walking casting Lumos every few minutes. Finally, we reached a clearing and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I was like an oasis of summer in winter. Grown oak trees and wildflowers circumferenced the clearing and it felt like the sun was shining through the vegetation. We sat and took off our heavy winter jackets. "Are you sure this isn't magic?" I asked him amazed "I don't even think the owner knows about this place, y/n" He held my hands and I defrosted immediately. I kissed his cheek and butterflies showed up. he kissed my lips long enough for me to appreciate his fresh thyme sente.We pull away and looked at each other. I couldn't take all the love he had to give through those eyes, so of course, I interrupted the staring contest with food. "So.. would you like to eat something?". Cedric looked apprehensive "I just ate breakfast". He kissed my forehead and whispered "I'd rather stare at you"I wouldn't say things escalated quickly, but it is safe to say that nobody ate lunch that day.

After a while it was the right time to leave that magical place. We flew away from on his broom. I thought that Cedric was flying torwards the landscape, but by looking around I realized we were inside the landscape.(in the image above) Southern Scotland is beautiful at the end of autumn. There were litlle houses scadered around the vally. we flew so high the trees looked like miss-shapened broccoli. we suddenly dived the hover  above the water. Every colour seemed so vivid, Cedris's hair blue in the wind, he looked back at me and smiled. I hugged him, looking over his shoulder, we kissed, I opened my eyes and we screamed almost hit a tree.

Being an amazing broom rider he dodged it just a bit on edge. But I was scared I held him tight and he laughed. 
We got out of the valley gliding through the clouds and turned up in the street we got in.  And got of the broom in a dark alley.

Cedric asked flustered "So... would you like to come to my house for the yule feast?"
"I am really sorry. My parents are expecting me to help them set it in our house" I was really sad about it. I really wanted to celebrate it with him.

Ced held my face in his hand and with a sunshine smile said "hey don't worry about it" he kiss me hard and I was left standing there, paralyzed. Even when he said goodbye it felt like a movie. It felt like I wasn't there. When I realized he wasn't there and I was still standing in the alley.
