Detention | NCT Lee Taeyong x reader

Today is Saturday. I'm planning on going to the book cafe to study for the exam coming up. I have to go and study as much as I can because later I have to go to work.

I woke up at 7:30 AM did my morning routine and took the bus to the book cafe. I met my class mate Yuri on the way there. Yuri is one of the smartest kid in my class.

"Hey Y/n fancy seeing you here." Yuri said with a smile. "Hey Yuri. Likewise." I said. "Are you here to study for the exam or just to chill?" She asked as she stared to walk with me. "Yeah i'm gonna study for the exam." I said as I held on my bag firmer.

"OMG we can study together! I can finally get to know you. No one knows nothing about you and everyone is curious as to who the new kid is." She said very cheerfully. I smile as I open the entrance door for Yuri to enter. "I would be more than happy to study with you." I said as I walk in behind her.

We got a seat in a corner where you can see everything and no one can see you unless they pay attention. It's not dark in the corner and it's not cold either. We sat our belongings down as we went to get a drink. "So Y/n. how old are you?" Yuri asked as she was looking at the menu board.

"I am 17 (18)." I said as I take some money out of my wallet. "Woahhh 17 (18)? You are way younger than what the class thinks." Yuri said as she looks at me with a shocked face. "How old did you think I was?" I asked as I look back at her. "I thought you were maybe 19 (20)." She said as we took a step to the front.

"Oh I get that often." I said as we took another step up front. It was our turn. "Good Morning may I take your order?" The cashier asked me and Yuri. "Yes. I would like a Iced americano please. And my friend here would like~..." Yuri said as looked at me. "I would like a (your favorite drink) please." I said.

"OK that would be ₩xxxx." The cashier said and we gave our money separately. "What are your names?" The cashier asked us. "I'm Yuri and this is Y/n." Yuri said. "OK you guys can take a seat and I will bring your drinks to you." The cashier said as he wrote our name on the cup.

"Yo I think the cashier likes you Y/n." Yuri said to me as we sat down on our seat. "Haha no. I doubt it." I said as I took my books out. "What should we study for first?" I asked Yuri as she took her English book out.

"We should start with English since we just need to highlight the important stuffs." Yuri said as she took her highlighter out of her pencil case.

While we were highlighting, the cashier guy came to give us our drink. He winked at me before he headed back to the counter where he was working. I smiled and took a sip out of my drink.

"See I told you he is interested in you." Yuri said as she sips on her drink and flips through some pages in her notebook. "No no let's just study. I have to go somewhere soon." I said with a smile on my face as I look at my opened notebook. 

Me and Yuri had a lot of fun studying together. It's already 1 pm so me and Yuri decided to go eat at a small restaurant. We went to this ramen place and enjoyed the food. After that I decided to go home and sleep for a bit before going to work.

~ after resting at home~

It's already 6pm. I showered and wore my clothes getting ready for work. I wore a cap and a mask to cover my face. I went out to take the bus. After getting to my stop, I walked all the way to my destination. I walked in the club through the back door.

"Oh heyyyyy Y/n is here~" My friend Amber said as I walked through the door . "Oh please shut up." I said with a smile and rolled my eyes. "Something is up. Something is definitely up. Y/n, what happened today that you are so happy?" Amber asked me while holding on to my shoulders. 

I looked at her deep in her eyes with a straight face and said; "Today...Today I-I met someone." I said as I slowly looked down on the floor. "Hey hey eyes up here." Amber said as she lift my chin up to look at her. "Where did You meet them?" She asked as she lets go of my shoulder to get ready for her work. 

"At the book cafe that I told you I was gonna study at. He's the cashier." I said as I took my cap off to fix my hair and put it back on. "Do you know his name or anything?" Amber asked as she checked in for me in the check in machine. 

"Sadly no. But he winked at me though." I said as I wear my name tag. "That's good I guess. Next time look at his name tag or make a move." Amber said as she started to walk to the bar.

Amber is the first friend I made here after coming to South Korea. She works as a bartender and makes one of the best cocktails ever. I consider her as my best friend and mother because she knows almost everything about me and let me be free while also taking care of me. 

I went to take a seat at the bar pretending to be a costumer. I sat at the corner of the bar with my head on the palm of my hand as I had small conversations with Amber as she works. 

"Yah Lee Taeyong if I tell you to mix soju and vodka together just do it!" I heard a man yell not far from me at the bar. "Bartender!" I called out to Amber. She came to me as fast as she could.
"Jiho is everything OK?" Amber called me by my fake name. 

"Yes but I would like a drink. Something a little soft. I have exams coming up." I said and she patted my head. "Is cola OK?" She asked me. "Yes please." I said as I looked to the side to see Lee Taeyong. Amber walked away to get me my drink. 

Lee Taeyong. This kids name is all over school. There is so many rumors going around about him. There is one that recently came out saying that he is a drug dealer and that he skips school to sell drugs. I really don't care about him. I just want him to hurry up and leave the school so that I wont be hearing all these bullshit replaying in my head at school.

"No I'm not going to mix vodka with soju. Are you trying to get me drunk?" I heard a different voice say. I'm assuming that was Taeyong. "Listen Taeyong if you don't do it I will make sure that you go to the hospital tonight and miss your stupid exam." A different voice said. Amber gave me my drink and went to the next costumer.

I took a sip of my drink as I kept on eavesdropping. "Fuck that stupid exam I don't care anyways just leave me the fuck alone." Taeyong said as he walked to a table across the room and took a seat. The men fallowed him and stood in front of him. I couldn't hear anything so I went to the bathroom which was near where they are. 

"Listen Lee Taeyong. I'm going to make sure you stay in a coma for years if I have to. Just drink this up!" The man yelled. "NO! I AM NOT GOING TO DRINK THAT!" Taeyong shouted and threw the glass on the floor. "Oh now you are getting it." The man took out a pocket knife and charged at Taeyong.

Everyone in the club started to run wild. "Jiho! Jiho where are you?!" Amber started to call out to me. A man came to me and held me by my wrist with one hand as the other hand was covering my mouth.

"You keep quiet or I'm gonna kill you." The man said as he dragged me with him. I grabbed his balls with my hands and squeezed them hard. He groans out of pain and took his hand off of my mouth and falls to the ground while holding his crouch with both hands.

"You son of a bitch! You are so dead!" The man said as I started to run to Amber. Right when I was near Amber, the man caught me by my legs. "I got you now stupid bitch. What are you gonna do now huh?" He said in a cocky way. 

"AMBER!" I screamed at the top of my lunges. She spotted me and quickly took action. 

"Hey let go of my baby you dick!" Amber yelled at the man.
