"My aim is always a little off." Said Angela to Raphael.

They were talking about their turns with the sword, some conversations being as embarrassing as 'I nearly cut my hair'. The atmosphere was very light, everyone in a good mood..

If only it lasted longer.

Out of nowhere, the front double doors burst open, catapulting a large amount of dust in the air. The doors lay on the floor, having swung off their hinges.

It was hard to see who they were in the destruction. But they knew one thing for sure; this could not be good.

They scattered, hiding in different spots. Angela hid with Phoebe in the female's bathroom. Jasper hid behind a shelf in the farthest corner of the store. Raphael hid in the male's bathroom.

The humans took a few glances before stepping inside. There were two of them, fully dressed in black. One of them searched the shelves on the left side, the other on the right side.

Jasper's heart raced as they search closer and closer until the right-hand one was one shelf away. Jasper had to escape somehow. He snuck forward by a single inch..

"We know you're here! Surrender one of you or we'll take your precious swords!" One of them shouted.

Phoebe and Angela stood close together in complete silence. They had forgotten to lock the door; they had a chance of getting caught. They waited and waited until they heard screams from outside the door. Phoebe was extremely frightened now, but Angela somehow had a tiny comforted feeling. Phoebe instinctively hid behind Angela's back as they tried to listen to the voices outside the door. All they could make out was

"Let's bring him back. Easy money." from a clear voice and

"Mmph!" from a muffled one.

But Phoebe recognized the voice. She suddenly walked towards the door, without any fear whatsoever. She nearly shoved the door out of her way when Angela whispered,

"Where are you going?!"

"To save Jasper!"

"Don't get out there—"

"Do you only care about yourself?! One of your friends is literally sacrificing themselves for us—"

"'One of my friends'—?"

"Angela, your trust issues are getting out hand! They were just trying to help!"

"I thought Sarra was trying to help me too! That was the reason I fell for her trap!" Angela seized Phoebe's arm. She forcefully nudged Angela's hand away and stormed out of the bathroom looking for the humans who might've caught Jasper. But they had already gone.

"Where are those b—"

"Calm down Phoebe! Jasper might be hiding here somewhere.." Angela tried to assure herself. Phoebe immediately began searching the backs of shelves a Angela walked towards the male's bathroom and knocked.

"Perfect Pants? It's me, Abyss. The humans are gone."

Raphael emerged from the bathroom looking relieved. Phoebe, however, had finished searched the whole place with no success. She stood for a few seconds before standing, crossing her arms in a corner, staring at nothing in general. It was then Angela realized something she should've before. Raphael and Jasper were perfectly innocent and just wanted to help. It was incredibly stupid that she hadn't realized it before. She almost wanted to slap herself. Raphael didn't have any idea that Jasper was missing so he asked,

"Where's Toilet?"

"The humans.. They.. Um.." Angela answered timidly.

".. Oh." He walked away, with the intention to check on the swords.

"Pull yourself together, Phoebe. It's fine! We only have 14 hours left to escape this horrible place. You're the smartest around here. Got any plans in mind?" Angela quietly said to Phoebe.

"Yes.. I've got a plan." Said Phoebe, moving slowly. She walked to where Raphael and the swords were sitting and examined one. Angela arrived behind her as Phoebe glanced backward at her with a smile.

"Let's start by practicing. Until we can beat the souls out of those invisible creatures."
