The cool night air ran through Angela and Phoebe's hair, ruffling their wings as they flew towards Sarra's shack. It was not very far away; only about a 2 kilometer distance. Nevertheless, it was nice to have a good wing exercise. They weren't worried about humans spotting them. Sarra's shack was a little far from the city where most humans were, and the fact that it was nighttime made sure that they weren't seen during the whole flight.
As Sarra's shack neared, Angela and Phoebe swooped downwards. After having landed gently on the grass, they looked around making sure nobody else was there. They walked to the door where they slowly creaked it open.
It was the same as ever. The only difference was that a handbag laid on the small table. It was dark, but moonlight flowed in through a little window.
"Oh, I remember this!" Said Angela all of a sudden, walking to the handbag and taking out its contents.

Phoebe stared at her for a moment before arriving beside her. Looking down, she sees the contents of the handbag—2 brown coats, one intact and the other with holes where the shoulder plates should be—dumped out onto the table.
"Why does this one have holes in it?" Asked Phoebe, pointing at the damaged coat.
"I was the one who cut this in case I needed to fly. That was when I was trying to escape this place. Then when Sarra got me, she probably took the handbag and placed it back here."
"But if she came back here.." Said Phoebe slowly.
A realization hit them both. Sarra was still alive and well. It wasn't too surprising because they didn't harm her. But, she might have the same ambition as before—tearing wings off other fallen angels so she and her master can use them for flying to Heaven.
"We need to get out before she finds us. But first I need to find a map so we can find our way around the city. And a coat for you. And maybe some money too." Said Angela.
One quick glance around the room was enough. There, posted on the wall was a map of the nearby city. The map looked quite cheap, but it was alright anyway—aside from a single area they did not know encircled in red ink.
Angela tore it from the wall and found a small, white purse of coins and bills under the bed. Angela grabbed it and the handbag before stuffing (yet another) brown coat of Sarra's, the map and the purse inside. It was a tight fit, but it was good enough.
"The map says that the nearest hotel is about 4 kilometers away to the north." Said Angela.
"And that's the nearest, huh?
"Apparently."
Angela motions for Phoebe to follow her out the door and into the night. They started out slow then took a run-up, accelerating and flapping their wings until they rose into the air.
