Maybe it was my fault,
Who am I kidding its always my fault. The day my eyes met yours it was like the world just came alive,
When my lips met yours, I realised I had been asleep all this time,
Your smile could light up the whole town,
Your laughter was sweeter than any music,
You always made me feel like the queen of the world,
It was surreal,
You always said the right things,
Always did the right things,
Always so perfect,
Almost too perfect,
But I was just too naive to realise that.Broken arms, silent screams
Rivulets of blood and tears,
Vision blurry, a ringing in my ears,
Breathing is difficult,
My consciousness is slipping,
Frantic apologies,
Illogical justification,
Delusional reassurance,
"I'm sorry,
I didn't mean to,
You know I wouldn't hurt you."
"Why did you provoke me,
This is all your fault,
But.... but you'll be okay,
I'll make you ok my love"
"You won't leave me,
I love you,
I love you,
You will be alright,"
"If someone asks you fell down the stairs..."
"I'm sorry, so so sorry,
I just lost control,
I'll be better, I'll make you happy"
Sorry, sorry, sorry,
I turn to look at you,
Watch your mouth form that word,
"I'm sorry."
My what sharp teeth you have,
All the better to eat you with.
