Chapter 6: Lovers

TenTen POV:

We finished up. I couldn't look away from my new girlfriends eyes. They where a dark green, a pretty emerald, with a rim of hazel. We finished eating.

"I'll pay" I said pulling $50 out.

"No it's fine I will" She said, not wanting to be rude

"No I will."

"Fine but next time I want to" Temari said.

"Deal" I agreed. I got up, and reached for Temari's hand.

"Huh-? Oh!" She wrapped her silky soft fingers with mine, her nail dug into my skin, I didn't mind. Our fingers fit perfectly, like a puzzle. We walked out shoulders brushing. We had started dating not even an hour ago, yet this felt amazing, like we had done this forever. I stopped by the door of my house.

"Can I kiss you?" I asked reaching for Temari's hand.

"Ofcourse" She rewarded me with her silky hand. Leaning up I kissed her. Her lipswhere soft, and semi oily from her lip gloss. I walked in to see Kankuro sleeping, and Kiba sitting next to Akamaru, who had Shikadai on top of him.

"Moms!!" Shikadai said sliding off of the dog. I walked over, and sat down.

"Why isn't he asleep." Temari continued to scold Kiba, and wake up Kankuro. I put Shikadai in his crib, bed mix thing. Walking back out, I see Kankuro holding his cheek and talking to Temari.

"You guys are dating!?" Kankuro shrieked. The words rung in my ears. I never processed the step. I needed to, the step between friendship, and lovers. I couldn't mess up or I would fall down the whole set of stairs.

"Shut up! Shikadai needs to sleep!"Temari whisper shouted.

"Sorry ma'am" Kankuro teased.

"That's damn right." Temari sat next to me. I moved over a tad so I could put my head on her shoulder. I noticed Kiba's eyes locked on us.

"You do it aswell, look away ya creep" I mumbled, suddenly realizing how tired I was. Temari moved her arm around my shoulder, making me move a little bit. I yawned.

"Do you want to go to bed?" Temari asked.

"Huh-?" I said shooting awake.

"Do you want to go to bed?" Temari said a little louder.

"Oh yeah, but can we cuddle?" I said.

"Uhm yeah ofcourse." Temari said. I grabbed ice water and walked into my room, my bed was much bigger. Lying down I waited for Temari.

"Crap!" I mumbled getting up. I needed to change. I grabbed a rather large T-shirt, and some jogger shorts. Walking into the bathroom, that connects to my room I changed and walked out to see Temari sitting on my bed scrolling through her phone.

"Hey" I say walking over. She slid her phone off. Awkwardly I sat closer to the edge.

"you can scoot closer" she giggled. I sat still contemplating. I flipped over and came closer. I felt her warm breath on my forehead. Scooping even closer Curled my leg over her. She put her hand on my back. I bent my knee a little bit. Finally comfortable I sighed.

"This might be really soon, but I love you" I said slowly. I assumed she was asleep to the lack of words.

"I love you too" she said slowly. She kissed my forehead. I felt her smooth, soft lips. They didn't feel oily because she wiped the gloss off. I never had fallen in love. It hurt, but in a good way, my heart felt like it was going to explode. Sleep overcame my heavy eyelids.

Kankuro POV:

I sat staring at the wall.

"What's wrong babe?" Kiba said pushing his head against my shoulder.

"Temari, is already over Shikamaru, she was completely broken, I-" Kiba put his finger on my lip, removing it quickly to kiss me.

"It's okay, as long as your there for her." Kiba said with his signature puppy dog eyes. Kankuro himself was a cat person, but he enjoyed Kiba's playfulness. Sighing he sunk into the bed.

"You sure?" I asked. Kiba lied on top of me.

"Yes, for sure." Kiba stroked his hand on me head. " you really love your siblings" Kiba mumbled.

"For sure, they are all I had." He sighed. He had always protected them. Atleast from the cruel world who had made himself dred his own life.

"My sister, well she is a bitch, but I care about her, I don't know how it feels to have only your siblings."

"You would be surprised." I said lightening up. Maybe it would be okay.

Temari POV:

I woke up with TenTen up against me. Shikadai lied on my other side. Wait Shikadai why was he here!? I sighed.

"Good morning uhm Temari" TenTen said pulling away from me slightly to look into my eyes.

"Morning" I knew she didn't know if she should call me babe or cute names. I awkwardly stared into her eyes. "We should take Shikadai to the park." I say realising he hadn't gone for a while.

"I have work" She said giggling.

"We could take hi-"

"A toddler in a weapon shop? Temari are you serious?"

"I can run the cashier and he can sit in the chairs"

"You- fine,"

"Yay!" I sat up. "Why is he here" I say awkwardly .

"Nightmares, he just said moms and I was awake so I-"

"Thanks" I say sliding down the bed past Shikadai. I walked into the kitchen and sat down. This would be a great day.
