Chapter 7: Plans

Tenten POV:

A while passed. We had tons of fun. It was great! Temari trusted me, and Shikadai turned 4. I looked over to see Temari gardening. She was so pretty. I smiled.

"Mom, can you get mama to watch a movie with me?" Shikadai asked slowly.

"Sure, go make a comfy spot by Mushy's bed.

"Wanna go inside for movie night?" I hollered.

"Yeah! Lemme wash my hands, you make snacks!" I looked at her as she walked in. She had a perfect body. I went into the pantry, grabbing the popcorn. I popped it into the microwave and watched it spin around. I turned around and grabbed triple cheese pizza rolls from the freezer. I finished up and walked into the living room. Shikadai had blanket rolled out on the floor, and 4 pillows. Mushy sat on his lap. I smiled. Temari sprawled across the tan ish pink couch. I sat down next to her. She wrapped her arm around me and pulled me against her.

"You smell good" she said giggling and kissing my neck.

"Thanks, it's my perfume!" I said relaxing.

"I smell like dirt" She sniffed her arm. "Yep I do"

"It's not that bad" I replied handing Shikadai the remote.

"Thanks mama." Shikadai smiled scrolling through the TV movies.

"Hey Tenten guess what?" Temari said pulling her arms from slightly under me.

"Hm?" I grunted. Her left arm latched around me and she tickled me with her right. I laughed, attempting to struggle out of her tight arm.

"Let...goooo!" I said laughing.

"Say the magic words"

"Uncle!!"

"No!!"

"Temari...., babe....., sweetie...., honey!"

"Incorrect!" She said sliding her arm up and down my stomach.

"Tickle her more mamma!" Shikadai shrieked.

"Love of my life!" Temari stopped and my breathing relaxed.

"Gorgie!" Shikadai said putting on curious George.

"Okay" I knew Shikadai would be asleep soon, and we could watch something better, but for now this was fine. I cuddled into Temari. Her arm was rested around my stomach. I slid off my now sleeping girlfriend. Mushy rubbed her face on my leg.

"Good girl" I whispered. I went into my room, and grabbed the phone. I went to messenger and clicked on the group chat called, 'sista protesters' what a dumb name.

TenTen: I'm on my way 👀

Gaara: Good, hurry!

Kankuro: You remember the address right?

TenTen: ye, cya soon

I hurried to the house Kankuro and his husband shared. I knew the plan.

Temari POV:

I woke up freezing, TenTen was no where to be seen. Great. I got up and looked like a trainwreck. TenTen and I where going on a date and take instagram couples photos. We had just hit 2k. I climbed in our glass shower washing my hair with the honey and milk scented shampoo. I finished up and walked out in a towel. I picked out a pale purple tight dress and changed. I brushed my curly hair out. I was ready. I walked out, I was supposed to meet her by the river. My makeup looked spot on. I found her sitting in the grass, her face beamed.

"You look good!" She said looking me up and down. "Do a twirl for me" she said still smiling. I twirled and showed her my dress.

"Anyways, you ready?" I noticed TenTen get tense, almost anxious. I shrugged it off. Kankuro held the phone, and Gaara glared at me. I didn't know why. We took a few basic photos.

"We should do a back to back photo! I'll kneel and it'll look great!" TenTen said, her sweat more visible.

"Sure!" The idea sounded stupid, but she looked excited. I got into place and stood, looking into the hill, on the side of the river.

"Okay that's good, wanna see the photo?" Kankuro said. Gaara looked more wide-eyed. TenTen fiddled in her pocket. Kankuro held at the phone and I examined it. TenTen was holding something, maybe a box. I looked over to see TenTen, again on her knee holding a black box. This couldn't be happening.

"Temari, your the love of my life, and I want it to stay like that. Will you do the honor of being my wife?"

"Wha- yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! You can't be serious!" TenTen slid the ring on, and I jumped onto her, I kissed her and held her like that, not caring about my dress or my makeup.
