Jaden's POV:
I woke up.
I had a hankering for a sandwich. We had no food so i headed down to a gas station.
I grabbed a sandwich and a bag of chips.I paid the cashier.
As i left i noticed a pay phone.Y/n...
I should call the nearest hospital.I put in 10 cents.
"Hi, this is dorris. How may i help you?"
"Uh hi..i need to speak to y/n l/n."
"And who may i ask is calling?"
"Who is this? Uhm..Her cousin Jay."I almost blew it.
"Alright, I'll transfer you to her phone."
That meant she was alive but why did the news say she was dead? I called expecting no answer.
What the hell was going on?The line rang for a bit.
Then i heard a click."Y/n? Y/n is that you?"
Silence.
"Hey Jaden, I love you and i miss you."
I felt tears come to my eyes.
She really was alive."Oh y/n, baby, I knew you were alive. I miss you so much. I love you."
"I love you too, listen. I'm getting out of the hospital soon, we'd have to be discreet but do you wanna meet?"
"Yes, i mean yes, of course."
"I gotta go jay, but I'll see you soon. Also whereabouts are you?"
"I'm about an hour from the old base using a payphone. I love you to y/n."
"Alright, goodbye baby.."
I heard the line click.
I missed her so much.Hearing her voice.
It made me happy.I wiped the tears from my face.
I walked the 15 minutes back to the house.
Griffin was in the kitchen, on his burner.
I walked in and handed him a bag of chips.
"I called her."
He grinned.
I walked back upstairs and sat on my bed.For once in awhile,
I was happy.
