CHAPTER FIVE: FINAL BATTLE

It began to rain heavily as Kazuki climbed up the tallest hotel he could find, as he reached the top and stood there, an MEA helicopter approached, followed by the same news helicopter from before, both hovered over top of the building, a door slid open on the MEA chopper and the caped figure from before lept down onto the rooftop and now Kazuki could see why he was so familiar, the figure was him!
"Hey there you handsome, clone bastard," he said,
"Clone?! What're talking about?" Kazuki asked, shocked,
"Don't play dumb!" The clone yelled, "you know you're the clone!"
"I don't think so!"
"Really? I'll prove I'm real!!"
The clone took out a kunai and stabbed himself in the arm! Red liquid leaked out over his arm,
"And yours is black ink you clone fuck!" He shouted,
"No it ain't!" Kazuki yelled, pulling out his own kunai and stabbing himself in the arm! Red blood poured out his arm as well,
"The scientists said you might've died your blood red, doesn't matter! I'll kill you anyway!!!" The clone shouted, brandishing,
"The Kamuy. I figured they'd give it to you," Kazuki growled, drawing two kunai, "come at me asshole!"
The two Kazuki's ran at each other. Meanwhile the Ninja Seeking Club was beginning their attack on the MEA base,
"LIGHTNING!!!" Enju shouted,
The giant doors were blasted out of their frame and slammed onto the ground, the team marched into the base weapons drawn,
"Ah, Ninja Seeking Club," said the Manager, "so nice of you to drop by,"
"Call off your attack on my son at once!" Kazuki's father shouted, "or the entire Ninja World will come for you!"
"Aww, you care for him. But what makes you think your fellow Ninja will rally with you when you made that deal without telling anyone? And besides, there's no way I could call off the attack, the final fight is already in motion,"
"WHAT!!?" Everyone asked,
"Take a look, why don't you?" The Manager sneered, gesturing to a huge monitor behind him, on the screen was the fight between Kazuki and the clone!
"If the real one wins, we'll leave him alone. If my clone wins, the real Kazuki is dead and I can experiment on it as much as I want. But I'll tell mine that you're here to watch. Attention Kazuki, your father and some fangirls have come to watch your fight, be sure not to disappoint,"
"Sure thing," the clone smirked. Meanwhile, the two Kazuki's were having a terrifying duel, deflecting each other's blades with ease, the clone clearly had the more powerful weapon, but for some reason, he didn't bother to use Purification,
"Hey, what's the matter? Can't use Purification?" He asked, "you're makin' this to easy!"
"I would, but you convinced the Kamuy that YOU'RE the real deal!" The clone shouted back,
"The Kamuy doesn't work like that!" Kazuki retorted, "And when the hell would I have time for that!? That damn sword has been locked up at MEA for the last week!"
"You know what you did you fuck!" The clone screamed, "now die!!"
He began swinging ferociously at Kazuki, he could barely block with his kunai, soon the clone actually managed to disarm him! As his kunai fell to the ground the clone grabbed Kazuki by the head and slammed him against an air conditioning vent! Blood splattered on vent as the clone repeatedly smashed Kazuki's head into it. The clone let go and Kazuki slumped to the ground,
"As you can see," smirked the Manager, "my clone is superior. I believe you were correct Miss Fuma,"
"What!?" Lily asked, stunned,
"When you first met Kazuki, you said he had become weak because he had made friends, as Miss Suou told us, and it would seem your theory was correct,"
"Wait look!" Nanao shouted pointing at the screen,
On the screen, the clone began speaking to Kazuki,
"You probably didn't hear," he sneered, "but my old man and some fangirls are watching,"
Kazuki was shocked, the girls and his dad were watching at the MEA headquarters. That would mean Akari's watching to.
Kazuki gritted his teeth and slowly stood up, the clone laughed,
"I figured you'd get back up, you are me after all, I'd be disappointed if you didn't,"
Kazuki picked up his kunai off the ground,
"Come at me bitch," he spat,
"Oh, them's fightin' words!"
The two of them resumed their clash, sparks flying everywhere. As they continuesly slammed their blades together, eventually disarming each other, the Kamuy and one of Kazuki's kunai dropped to the floor. The clone grabbed Kazuki's kunai out of the air and they continued to duel. They dueled ferociously, as they continued to fight, their arms began to speed up until they were blurred. Eventually, Kazuki disarmed his clone, only the clone to kick him in the stomach, sending him flying backwards, Kazuki landed on his feet,
"Not bad!" The clone yelled, through the wind and rain, "but I've got a backup plan!"
He stuck his hand into the air, and out of the MEA copter dropped,
"An assault rifle!?" Kazuki asked, "bit overkill don't ya think!?"
The clone didn't answer, instead he opened fire on Kazuki! As Kazuki ran for cover a bullet pierced his right shoulder and then his left knee, Kazuki stumbled for just a second, which was long enough for the clone to get another shot off, this time grazing Kazuki's left cheek, ripping part of his mask and hood. Kazuki launched himself behind the air conditioning system his head had been bashed against earlier as a spray of bullets nearly hit him. He looked down at the kunai he still clutched in his left hand,
"Okay," he thought, "let's do this,"
Kazuki dashed out from behind the AC system and hurled the kunai at the clone's gun, but in that split second received a bullet to the wrist of his left hand, but the kunai found its target, it sailed and stuck directly into the barrel of the assault rifle, giving Kazuki enough time to run over and throw it aside, he and the clone engaged in hand to hand combat, Kazuki lagging a bit behind because of the bullet wounds, the two continued to hammer on each other for quite some time, eventually backing off to catch their breath, they stared at each other, but suddenly rushed forward at high speed, they Kazuki managed to land a glancing blow to the clone's face and then,
"NO!!!" Akari screamed,
Kazuki stumbled backwards and looked down, the clone stabbed him right in the stab wound from his fight with Guten, Kazuki clutched at his side,
"You did pretty well," the clone said, his voice sounding more and more distant. Kazuki collapsed onto his knees, and began to breathe heavily, he felt his body begin to slip into unconsciousness, he was on the verge of collapsing when he's heard a voice call out his name,
"Kazuki, please! You have to win! Please! Get up!"
"A-Akari?" He muttered,
"No," he thought, "I can't die yet. I've got people at home who care about me!"
Kazuki planted his fist against the ground, and slowly stood up. He grabbed the kunai and tore it from his stomach, blood poured from his side,
"You never learn, do you?" The clone asked, annoyed, "then again, you're me, so I shouldn't have expected anything different,"
Kazuki stared at the clone with fire in his eyes, he didn't say anything, suddenly, he rocketed off at the clone, kunai brandished, ready to kill. The clone readied himself, as soon as Kazuki got close, the clone made a move to disarm him, he succeeded, only to get stabbed in the side! Kazuki had taken out another knife and stabbed his clone, and he didn't let up either, he repeatedly stabbed the clone over and over again. The clone coughed up blood, Kazuki backed off, and then proceeded to beat on his clone, relentlessly kicking and punching his clone all over until the clone collapsed to the ground, Kazuki limped over to where the Kamuy had been dropped and picked it up. He looked at himself in the reflection,
"You've looked better," the Kamuy joked,
Kazuki didn't say anything, instead he limped back over to where the clone lay, and raised up the sword. But he stopped, the clone's body was beginning to disappear, he looked shocked,
"Huh," he wheezed, staring at his arm as it faded away into nothing, "so...you are the original one,"
He looked up at Kazuki,
"You put up one hell of a fight," he coughed, extending his other hand, Kazuki took it, he held onto it tightly as the clone faded away and disappeared, Kazuki noticed an ear bud that his clone had been wearing, he picked it up and put it in,
"NO!!!" He heard the Manager shout, angrily,
"Well well well," Kazuki said into the mic, "should've known it was you, ya fat bastard. Now how about you tell your men to fuck off before I send 'em to kingdom come,"
"You..!" The Manager growled,
"I'll give you five seconds," Kazuki said, "one,"
The Manager did nothing,
"Two,"
He still didn't move,
"Three,"
"Alright! Alright!" The Manager shouted at last, "call off the attack! Return to base!"
"But sir!" A soldier said, "the target is right here!"
"I don't care!!" The Manager shouted, "unless you want to die, return to base!!"
"...yes sir!" The soldier responded,
The helicopter turned around and left the building,
"Good man," Kazuki said through the radio, "I figured you would be reasonable,"
Kazuki took the radio out of his ear and crushed it in his palm, he then looked up at the news helicopter, he gave them a look that read,
"get lost,"
They took the hint and flew as well. Kazuki turned around and left for his apartment. An hour later Kazuki arrived back at his apartment and after bandaging himself up, collapsed onto his bed, shirtless, bloody, bruised, and broken.
