CHAPTER TWO: NEW HOME NEW NAME NEW LIFE

Kazuki ran through the darkness back to the dorm with to many emotions flying through his head.
"Why did Dad make that deal without telling anyone?! Didn't he think about the consequences!?" Kazuki thought angrily as he ran home, "those MEA bastards will be after me, I can't stay at the school dorms, they probably know I live there, I can't go to Akari's place, Beretta knows where that is, I can't stay in the Hag's room, they could find that easily, my only option is to go away from everyone, I just need to get a new suit,"
After making it back to the dorm apartments, Kazuki saw multiple MEA members guarding the dorm rooms,
"Dammit!" Kazuki whisper shouted,
"Alright, I'll have to take them all out,"
Kazuki lept down,
"Hey assholes!" He shouted, "could you get out of the way? If not, I could just kick your collective butts!"
"Primary Target has arrived at dorms, subduing now," one of soldiers said into his radio, the soldiers all readied their weapons,
"Alllllright! Butt whooping it is!" Kazuki said, cracking his knuckles. The following fight only lasted a few seconds,
"Jeez, you guys suck!" Kazuki said, stepping over the bodies, "now, if you'll excuse me, I need to grab a few things,"
Kazuki walked into his apartment room and threw his costume onto floor,
"Okay, new costume, no needs to know who I am," Kazuki muttered looking through his clothes. Kazuki grabbed his blue hoodie, a grey shirt, a brown belt, black jeans, black and grey fingerless gloves, grey shoes, and the mask from his ninja suit. He suited up pulling on the mask and hood, grabbed all of his kunai and shurikiens, and grabbed his phone. He scribbled down a note for the others to find, placed the note on his desk, and left.
"Okay, question is, where do I go?" Kazuki asked himself as he ran far away from the school, "I guess I could just live in the city, I've got a little bit of money, I could get a cheap apartment and live there for a while. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea,"
Kazuki ran as fast as he could,
"It's pretty late though," he thought, "I guess I'll have stay out in the streets for tonight,"
About thirty minutes later Kazuki arrived in the city and walked down the street,
"Okay," Kazuki thought, "what to do, what to do? I guess I could just walk around for the night and check into a hotel tomorrow,"
Kazuki walked around for a bit, taking in the scenery, he was walking around for about twenty minutes when as he rounded a street corner and heard a shriek, he turned his head in the direction of the noise and saw a crowd of people in front of a small store, Kazuki ran over to it,
"What the hell's going on!?" He asked one of the people out front,
"There are four people robbing the store! There are hostages inside!" The person said, frantically. Kazuki looked into the store,
"Okay, has anyone called the police?" He asked,
"We can't!" The person said, "they said if anyone called the police they would kill the hostages!"
Kazuki looked back into the building,
"Alright, I need you to call the police, but tell them to keep the sirens off, I'll take care of the robbers,"
"How?" The person asked,
"Just trust me! I've had years of martial arts training!" Kazuki said,
"...okay," they said,
"Don't worry, I've got this," Kazuki backed up, and then ran, full speed towards the window of the shop, leaping into the air, Kazuki pulled two kunai out of his belt, crossing his arms to cover his face, he crashed through the window. Shards of glass littered the floor as Kazuki stood there,
"Okay, not the stealthiest entrance, but I didn't have much of an option, I've been here before and those automatic doors are loud as shit," Kazuki thought,
"Who's there!?" He heard one of the criminals ask, Kazuki didn't answer,
"I said who's there!?" Came the voice again,
"Like I'll tell you!" Kazuki thought, "good news is, it's night, if I can take out the lights, they're in MY territory,"
Kazuki snuck through the building, keeping his eyes and ears peeled for any signs of the criminals and their hostages. He stopped when he heard footsteps on the other side of an isle, he closed his eyes, listening to the footsteps, as soon as they sounded like they were right across from Kazuki, his eyes snapped open, he lept into the air and landed right behind the criminal, he turned around and laughed when he saw Kazuki,
"It's just some kid!" He yelled to his partners, "I've got hi-!" He didn't finish his sentence, Kazuki grabbed the man by his throat. He choked the man out and left his body on the ground,
"Okay, now where's the fuse box?" Kazuki asked himself, he rounded the corner and saw the rest of the thugs standing there with the hostages, and they were standing in front of the fuse box,
"Okay, forget finding the fuse box, frontal assault it is!"
Kazuki dashed forwards and threw multiple kunai, knocking the guns out of their hands, grabbing two of them by the head and slamming them against the floor, he turned grabbing the other man's arm and swinging him over his head and smashing him against the ground, he stood up and turned to face the hostages,
"Hey, are you alright?" Kazuki asked, extending his arm to help them up,
"W-we're fine," one of them said, taking his hand, "who, are you?"
Kazuki paused,
"I'm...Nomad," he answered,
Soon afterwards the police arrived and took the criminals away after thanking Kazuki for what he did,
upon noticing that the Sun had risen Kazuki pulled out his phone and looked for cheap apartments in the city, turns out, there was a complex right around the corner! Kazuki walked into the building pulling off his mask and hood, and up to the front desk,
"Excuse me Ma'am, I'd like to rent a room please," Kazuki asked the lady at the desk, "the cheapest one you have if possible,"
"Of course sir, we have one upstairs," the woman said, Kazuki paid for his room, took his keys, and went to his room.
"It's a little small," he thought, walking into his new apartment, "buuuut, that is kinda what I deserve it since I asked for the cheapest room they had. Oh well, I can get used to this, hopefully no one will recognize me as "Nomad," but if I keep off my mask and hood while in this area of the city,"
Kazuki sat down on the old bed, it creaked. He sighed, laying down on it, but suddenly winced with pain, he sat up and clapped his hand against the stab wound in his left side. He lifted up his shirt and jacket to look at it, it wasn't bad, but it still hurt
"I miss Nanao already," he sighed, laying back down, "I should buy some medical equipment,"
He stared up at the ceiling,
"I'll do it tomorrow," he groaned, rolling over and falling asleep.
The following day Kazuki woke up and turned on the small TV on his little table. He was slightly shocked to see a news report on his little adventure as "Nomad," dubbing him a "Vigilante Superhero."
"Shit," he thought, "I'm pretty sure Mr. Kuzuryu watches the news, so he'll definitely tell the girls, and the MEA probably watches everything so they most definitely know it's me. DAMMIT!!!" He pounded his fist on the small table, "I just had to go and play hero! This could put people in this city in danger! Dammit!"
Kazuki sighed heavily,
"Okay, I need to grab a first-aid kit from a supermarket, and I need to get breakfast,"
Kazuki stood up and stretched,
"Okay, time to go," he stepped out of the apartment and walked down the street, he sighed sadly, thinking about his friends.
"I miss Akari," Kazuki thought, "I want my warm cuddly girlfriend again!"
As he was walking down the street saw something that made his heart stop. Standing across the street, right in front of the store, were agents of MEA.
