Then he was awoken again, but not by sound. No voice, no music, it was quiet. Too quiet, an eerie presence had filled the room. It was cold, so cold Bakugo couldn't feel his toes and he could see his breath. He looked out into the room and saw the dark silhouette of a man. A dark figure clouded in shadow stood steps away from the foot of his bed. The man had eyes that shone bright white. Yes, he was a dark figure, a shadowy figure. A dark shadowy figure. (Can you tell where I'm going with this). Dark Shadow, over top of Tokoyami of course. Bakugo supposed that since all the other weirdos were disguised as people he knew, it made sense for the creepy one to be Tokoyami. He was transparent like the others, of course Dark Shadow was a shadow and all but he had more mass to him, that is guy, even without the Bird. And considering a Tokoyami-like figure was underneath he knew without a doubt that this guy was the third spirit. He was mostly Dark Shadow looking, Dark Shadow was most of the spirits outfit, it was much like a cloak. Underneath, the clothes that could be seen were reminiscent of a medieval plague doctor. but the most noticeable item he had was his staff, it stood about a foot and a half above his head. It was pitch black and twisty, with intricate carvings. The head of the staff was a dark purple glowing stone with a tiny bird skull floating in the center.
'After all every trio of idiots needs a dark and brooding one.' Bakugo thought.
"So," Bakugo said. "Let me guess, you're the 3rd spirit."
The spirit nodded his head.
"Wait, don't tell me," Bakugo said, "you're the Spirit of Friendship Future."
The spirit nodded
"Do you talk?" Bakugo aked with an annoyed expression.
No answer.
"Thats not going to be fucking annoying" the blond boy said sarcastically.
No answer.
"At least you aren't a loud mouth like the others."
No answer.
"Their antics are fucking annoying."
The spirit nodded.
"Oh? So you agree. I think I might enjoy traveling with you more than the others, after all. So let's just get the hell out of here, I want this over with." Bakugo said getting out of his bed and walking towards the spirit, with his hands in his pockets.
The spirit nodded.
Then the spirit raised his staff into the air and a portal for a Time Tube, the same color as the gem, appeared. He pointed to the portal signifying that Bakugo should enter. Once inside, Bakugo noticed a few things, the first was that it was quiet, thank God that there wasn't any shitty music, next it was cold, so cold frost was biting at his fingers and toes, and lastly there were a lot of shining lights all around. Like the Time Tube had many exits. It reminded Bakugo of the saying 'The future's not set in stone'.
"W-w-why i-is i-i-i-i-it s-s-s-so c-c-c-co-co-cold?" Bakugo barked out between shivers. He couldn't use his quirk in the tube so he was stuck in his suffering.
No answer.
Bakugo tried to pull himself together and stop his chattering teeth. "W-W-What's with a-all the portals?"
No answer.
"Are t-t-th-they all m-m-my pos-s-s-ssible fu-utures?" Bakugo said with a little annoyance under his shivering.
The spirit nodded.
"Okay!" Bakugo said through gritted teeth. "THEN A-ARE WE GOING TO ALL OF THEM!?!"
No answer.
'Thank God' Bakugo thought.
"So t-then we're going to my m-most likely-y-y fu-u-uture?" the blond asked.
The spirit nodded
"Well that's-s-s-s less a-a-an-n-noying than seeeeeing all of t-them I g-guess." Bakgo thought aloud.
This caused the spirit to smile slightly, but Bakugo didn't notice.
Then they began to speed up and were soon at the bright light which was the portal exit of his most likely future given his current path.
Bakugo opened his eyes to see the city to Tokyo spread out before him, it was vast and busy but it looked peaceful enough. Then he noticed something; advertisement screens all over the city showed the face of a ruffly 29 year old man, he had ash blond hair and crimson eyes. His face glowed with a large toothy grin, and he was dressed in a hero costume. In the top corner was written '#1 Hero' and in large bold letters towards the bottom it said 'Ground Zero' underneath the name it said 'The Killer of Crime". That was him, up there, sure he was much older but there was no mistaking it, that was Katsuki Bakugo.
He looked over at the spirit eyes wide with excitement.
"LOOK AT THAT!" he yelled. "I'M THE NUMBER ONE HERO!! I mean I knew it would happen, but to see it for real. I almost can't fucking believe it."
Like he said he knew he would be the best, but to see it; to know that everything he had done, all his hard work, his planning, his sacrifices, it would all pay off in the future it was almost too much to take in. He was overjoyed.
"See I told Kiri I knew what I was doing. Everything turned out exactly the way I fucking intened it to, so just take me home, ok?"
The spirit nodded opening a portal.
(Oh boy, this should be fun. Finally a spirit that doesn't talk. I hope you're all ready for back to school if that effects you in any way. Also I bet you thought you were going to see more of the future, but I guess that"s all Future-dono has to offer. Until next time, I'm Fairy Fever and I hope you like it.)
