It's finally that time of year! Summer! Beach days, sunshine all day long, sunglasses and lemonade. But most importantly it's the annual Seavey Summer Barbecue! Daniel and I always go to back to Portland for the summer to celebrate and be with his family. The Seavey barbecue is my favorite event of the summer! I get to be with Daniels whole family and get to spend a few weeks with mine after.
Jeff and Kerri always make the best food and I get to spend time with Anna. I'm up in Daniel's room that we are currently sharing for the next few weeks getting ready. I decide to put on a simple but cute sundress and some cute sandals.

I put on some simple makeup and am about to head downstairs when Daniel barges into the room!
"Y/n have you seen—" he stops mid sentence and looks at me. "Wow y/n/n you look amazing."
I smile and blush a light shade of pink. "Thank you! You look great too! But what is going on with your hair?" I ask and giggle.

"I was gonna ask if you had seen my hair gel, but you distracted me with your beauty so I didn't get to." He said sarcastically.
I laugh again. "It's in the bathroom by our toothbrushes." I reply. He goes to the bathroom and I make my way downstairs to the kitchen where Jeff and Kerri are busy at work.
