It was another exhausting day of Yoga and the kids were almost drained, and then as usual, it was Nory's turn to be set aside. This time, Skriff brought her to the school's garden where there were whole a lot of green, tall and well grown hegdes. He gives her a pair of Shears and directs her on the way to trim the hedges, although he didn't tell her why.

After hours of trimming and cutting a lot of hedges into weird shapes and sizes that made no sense to her, A pale, sunburned Nory decided to ask, "Exactly how many of these things am I supposed to do?".

"Uh...Like a million zillion, Skriff smirks.

"But it's sooooo boring," She whines and stumps her feet. "OMG, I know, I mean, it almost like you're trying to visualize and physically manifest some different animal combinations," Skriff says and Nory slowly nods in perfect understanding, smiling widely, "Touché".

"Come on take a break, the dritten can wait ,"Skriff smiles at her and then hands her a bottle of water. Unscrewing the bottle lid, Nory asks with a raised eyebrow, "What's a Dritten?".

"A dragon-Kitten makes a dritten," He explains, referring to the animal combination she fluxed into during the evaluation tests.

"Oh dritten, I like that," Nory smiles, pointing to the hedge she had just sheared. "Yeah, this is a dritten, that's a kittiphant, that's a sharkitten and so on." Skriff says, pointing to the different combinations of animal they had sheared the hedge into. "The more you can see and know and name these things,the more you can fully be them," Skriff explains and Nory nods with a smile, chanting "Dritten. Dritten. Dritten. Dritten," as she continues shearing the hedge she was currently working on.

Days turned into weeks and weeks into months of the UDMs still battling with their stretching exercises and seeing the beauty of each of their own powers and so far, they're not doing so bad.
After their Yogas and personal lectures from Skriff, they hung out in their dorms to talk about their day and the new things they learnt.

Nory succeeded in perfectly drawing Elliot shooting smoke and Andreas launching into the air and they were both surprised to see how perfect the drawings were. With mixed feelings, she finally decided to draw Pepper even though she was told not to. Nory drew a very detailed diagram of pepper flicking away everything in her way and surprisingly, Pepper who never admitted liking anything or anyone, broke into a wide smile and took the drawing from her. In otherwords, the four kids have warmed their ways into each others hearts. During their spare time one evening in the dorms, Pepper did her hair into Headmaster knightslinger's hairstyle, put on a bathrobe and too much lipstick and started imitating the headmaster, making her friends crack up as they all made fun of the grumpy headmaster, sometimes they even made pizza and sang popular songs.

Elliot began to be able to contain his smoke and how and where they come out from and even make it into different shapes and sizes, triangles, circles and even polygons but of course, with the help of Skriff's mentoring. Nory had sheared all the hedges in the garden into distinct and interesting combinations and sizes of animals and slowly began to understand and study them and soon started practicalizing and fluxing into them. Pepper had stopped flicking all the dead leaves to Skriff and has properly learnt how to control them slowly, step by step. Andreas had acquired knowledge on how to control the speed at which he shoots into the air and if anything goes wrong, there's always Pepper to flick his cross bag to him to make him come down. Overall, they were gradually doing great and the whole school knew nothing of how much they were practicing Magic, even though they were forbidden from doing it, because well of course, no one cares about the UDMs.

But of course, on the other end of the stick, Reina was still doing very badly, even worse. She has no idea of what to do with the overbearing Shadow magic she had acquired unknowingly and even if it's making her do well in class, she still feels guilty and ignorant.

It was just after dinner and preps and the flares were outdoor, practicing magic, talking and laughing with their friends, throwing fireworks and writing stuff in the air with their flaring powers, having the time of their lives by doing what they know how to do best, but as usual, Reina was leaning against a metal pole, just beside the other flares, lonely and lost in thought, watching them.

"You're better than all of them, you know?", a smiling Chandra appears from nowhere, startling an agitated Reina. With widened eyes, Reina snaps at her, "Go away!!" and the smile on Chandra's face disappears. "I'm afraid I can't do that, you already used my book," She shrugs. "You're stuck with me, so why fight it?", She muttered with clenched teeth and Reina narrows her eyes at her.

Turning towards the side, Chandra let out a mocking laugh, "Look at these fools with their parlor tricks, Writing their names, popping corn, sparkly fireballs? Team up with me and we can have real power, just say the word," Chandra offers, and again a frustrated Reina shouts at her on top of her voice, "No, I said go away."

Letting out a small laugh, Chandra folds her arms in amusement. The other flares, hearing Reina's outburst, turned to her to make sure she's fine.

"Reina, are you okay?", one of them asks and Reina immediately replies, "It's Chandra, she won't leave me alone."

"Who's Chandra?", the girl asks and Reina snaps at her, "What do you mean Who's Chandra, she's right here," She points at the space Chandra stood with a smug face and folded arms, listening to their banter. "There's nobody there," The girl answers again and Reina's eyes widen on their own accord and right then, Chandra scoffs, "I forgot to tell you, Reina, you're the only one who can see me".

While all the flares look at her like she was delusional or out of her mind, Reina hurriedly excuses herself to gather her thoughts together, "I'm gonna go," She says and walks towards the hall, so she could be alone.

She opened the door and started walking in as fast as her legs could carry her as felt a gush of wind following her and then she stopped abruptly as Chandra's figure appears right in front of her.
"Stop! Stop running from your destiny," Chandra smiles invitingly. Tired of everything, Reina snaps, "What do you want from me?".

"I want you to know your worth, Reina. You don't think you're good enough, do you? You think everyone is better than you and you're wrong, Chandra smiles again in the face of a red-faced Reina. "Reginald thought he wasn't good enough either," Chandra muffled but Reina caught it. "Who's Reginald?", she asked.

"A former flare, a former friend," Chandra smiles again. "See, he was very powerful but he was very insecure, you're very powerful but even more insecure, he was very good but you Reina are perfect," Chandra smiles, enticing Reina who no one had ever told she was perfect, the more, and soon, she bought all of Chandra's lies and deception and then broke into a accepting smile.

"Good, smile, revel in your perfection, everyone will know of it soon," Chandra smiles devilishly, knowing she had gotten to Reina and very deeply at that and soon all her aims will be achieved, using Reina.
