A few days later
The pride were still digesting their last meal and it was a hot day today and nobody wanted to go hunting on a hot day the cubs were hungry and mom and the other lionesses didn't want to suckle them right now
Rita: You just ate guys leave me alone
Bridget growls at the annoying cubs
Neither did Sasha want to feed them
so the cubs decided to get some fresh air without any of the pride noticing they were gone
Lincoln: I'm hungry
Jasmime: Me too but mom and the other aunts refuse to feed us
Liberty: So what should we do then
Jasmine: I'd say we go look for our own food
Lola: But we don't know how to hunt
Lana: Yeah besides mom said we should stick next to her or the rest of the pride at all times it's dangerous out there
Jasmine: Let's just look around
Jack: Ok then
As the cubs look around for something to chase and hopefully eat
The pride are still asleep dreaming about catching buffalo d that they are blissfully unaware that the cubs have disappeared
back with the cubs after exploring for a while they hear some chirps and find some yellow weaver bird nests high up a tree and those birds do look tasty but they still have to get to them Jack tries to climb up but slides back down before the rest of the cubs give it try not having any luck either
Back with The rest of the pride they finally noticed that the cubs are missing and were currently looking for them both by calling their names and roaring but they couldn't find anything yet the other lions also tried to pick up their cubs scent and they had to find them and quickly as lost cubs are often killed by hyenas, leopards, wild dogs, buffalo, elephants, crocodiles, hippo and especially other lions so the search was getting more and more frantic
The cubs were about to give up and head back home when Jasmine forced her way up the tree and attacked a nest full of eggs and their parents trapped inside the other birds were not gonna take this lying down against a fully grown lion they wouldn't dare try to mess with it but a cub was in for a world of hurt as Jasmine was still killing the birds inside the nest a swarm of birds attacked one on one it's no contest infact it's mismatch but the birds were coming after her as a big group as they started pecking and pooping at her at first Jasmine tried to fight them off but she was outnumbered and overwhelmed and the other cubs couldn't get up the tree to help after being bombarded by pecks and shit and being shown up by a flock of birds Jasmine finally swallowed her pride and jumped out of the tree and ran as fast as she could with the other cubs joining her as the birds gave chase but after a few metres stopped chasing and turned around and flown away
Jasmine: Yeah you better run!
Lincoln: Boy you stink
They then heard a familiar roar and since it's familiar they respond back before Sasha finds them
Sasha: Where on earth have all of you been?
Lincoln: Hunting birds
Sasha: Ok now I understand the feathers and poop on you guys let this be a lesson to you guys never to go off all alone you could've been killed by animals far worse than those birds do I make myself clear?
All the cubs: Yes ma'am
Sasha: Good let's go back home
An: Done The cubs were up to no good and although they got a snack out of it they were really put in their place by those birds what do you think of the chapter guys please read and comment I'll see you after a while bye
