Aizawa's Pov

The rest of the time before the festival passed by in a blink of an eye. Y/n went back to her usual self, though she made sure to keep her distance when we were alone. Saturday she left me with Hizashi because she had a doctor's appointment then training with All Might for the rest of the day. Monday and Tuesday she trained with the students giving them pointers where she thought they could improve their form, when she wasn't doing that she was keeping herself busy in any way she could. I started to have more recurring nightmares about the attack, watching y/n running to me through my beaten eyes. Everytime, she would rush in to wake me and calm me down.

Y/n had taken me to recovery girl on Sunday for my weekly weekend healing session at the hospital. She's kept taking me to every healing session and made sure I've completed them when we're on campus. Recovery Girl let us know after yesterday's healing session in the afternoon, that she'd heal me once the sports festival ended and I would be fully healed.

Now the day was finally here, it was time for the UA Sports festival. Somehow Mic had convinced me to be his co-commentator during the event. Midnight was going to be overseeing the events as the chief umpire, while the rest of the first year teachers sat in the stands in a booth.

The introductions of the individual hero classes were made, followed by the grouped announcement of all the classes for each course. Midnight announced the introductory speaker, my own student, Katsuki Bakugo, who just told everyone that he was going to win.

The first round commenced with an obstacle race; four kilometers around the stadium in a free for all style. Todoroki froze many of his opponents at the gate, giving him a head start. Todoroki stayed in the lead for the better part of the race. It wasn't until the last obstacle that Bakugo and Midoriya caught up to him. The three raced to the finish line, with Midoriya pulling a last minute attempt to get a better chance to propel himself farther ahead for a second time. He took first place in the first event.

The second battle was a cavalry battle, fifteen minutes to build a team, fifteen minutes to play. I watched as all of the students decided their teams, finding a handful of unexpected teams. The battle took a turn for the worst at the halfway mark for Midoriya's team. It ended with Todoroki's team winning first place, Bakugo's coming in second, a purple haired boy named Shinso having his team coming in third, and Midoriya's team reaching fourth.

Mic announced a one hour intermission for lunch. I decided to take a nap, Hizashi said he was going out to buy some food from some of the stalls that were outside of the arena.

I had been having a decent nap until I heard talking. I tried to tune it out and go back to sleep.

"So, any trouble with Shota," a voice asked, I could clearly tell that it was Hizashi.

"Why don't you ask him?"

Y/n? What's she doing here?

I heard some shuffling before Mic spoke again, "we both know he won't willingly tell anyone if something is wrong. The two of you are unwilling to let anyone know if you're hurt."

"He's been having nightmares, but other than that he's the same brooding man that we know and love," she said softly letting out a sigh. "He's supposed to be getting one last healing session from recovery girl after the sports festival, so he'll be fully healed and able to take care of himself now."

"Why do you sound so disappointed," Hizashi probed teasingly.

Stay out of it Hizashi.

I shifted in my seat trying to get more comfortable, keeping my eyes closed.
