A/N: Hello dear readers! So I know it's been a while since my last update and the question on the last post too. Firstly thank you everyone for your wonderful advice. I decided to write the scene in the end so that it wouldn't be too out of y/n's character. Secondly, I would like to go ahead and let you know that there are a few areas where it could be triggering as it does have some abuse mentioned in the chapter. Please scroll past the designated areas or anywhere else where you feel you need to. Thirdly, thank you so much for all of your support in everything. I went through an abusive relationship and I want to take the time to address anyone else who has been in one as well. Please, please, please everyone one of you beautiful people know that you deserve the world and all the joy that comes with it. You are worthy of love and deserve the very best, do not let anyone tell you different.

Now with that being said, please enjoy the chapter.

y/n's pov

A week went by in a flash and now it was time for the UA sports festival. All the tents and food stands had already been set up early in the morning, so they were already there when we arrived to campus. I walked Aizawa to the commentator booth where Mic was waiting for him. Somehow he'd convinced the sleepy man to be his co-commentator.

"Alright I'm off to make sure all of my kiddos are doing okay before the games start. Take care of him Hizashi, don't stress him out too much," I said cheerfully, leaving the two men in the booth. I walked down to where the waiting rooms were.

Each hero class had their own room, while the rest of the courses had to share rooms respectively. I started with Class A, giving a general peptalk, then pulling aside specific students. I talked to Bakugo first who said that a weakling like me shouldn't worry about him and that he'd show me that he could kick everybody's ass. Todoroki just said he'd do his best especially because his father was here. Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari were all together talking and thanked me for the good luck wishes. I gave all the girls a hug and told them that they'd do great. Ida gave me a nod as I walked around the room trying to give everyone a wave of calming energy. Once that was done I pulled Midoriya outside to talk to him.

"I'm pretty sure my dummy of a brother already talked to you today but I just wanted to make sure you're okay. I'm sure both of you have high expectations of how you should perform today, but I want you to know that you need to be yourself. You're still learning how to get a handle on your quirk so please be careful and most importantly have some fun."

He thanked me in his anxiety filled way and I had to give off a stronger wave of calming energy, as I said my last words to him before I moved on to Class B, "you'll do great Izuku. We're already proud of you for making it this far so just do your best."

I moved on to class B sending out a wave of calm energy as soon as I entered. I gave them a similar general speech, pulling Monoma and Yanagi aside to talk to them individually. Yanagi was shy, quiet and her quirk, Poltergeist, was telekinetic based, so I tried to reassure her that she'd do great. Monoma although he played the role of a cocky person who thinks highly of himself, has the most doubt in himself in this class, so I wanted to make sure he felt confident enough to start off this big day.

I finally made it to the general education course waiting room and there was only a few minutes left. I searched for Shinso's lavender hair in the swarm of students.

The intercom announced that the students should now start heading to their designated entry stations right as I finally found the boy. Students began to slowly make their way out, I grabbed Shinso's shoulder before he passed me.

"Shinso, I finally found you," I smiled, "Let's talk while you walk to the entrance to the arena."

"Sure, what about?"
