"GET IN LOSER" zach said to sloane as she ran up to his car. "WE'RE GOING SHOPPING" the girl recited happily. "i HATE that you just did that" the boy said. "no no you loved it" sloane said while the boy pulled off to chipotle.

the pair pulled up to the restaurant, ordered their food and sat down at a booth. "alright tell me a little about yourself sir" zach said to the girl who was quietly eating her burrito. "well what do you want to know? i kinda told you guys everything on the group chat" she answered. "see you do this thing when you lie. your nose tends to scrunch up and you play with your hands because you're nervous" zach answered strongly. the girl was confused as to how he knew that so she looked up at him and tilted her head. "the other day when we working on the song daniel asked you if you liked his pants and you said yes even though i knew you were lying because of two reasons. those pants were ugly, and jack asked you a similar question but about his shoes and you did the same nose scrunch and played with your hands." the boy explained.

"wow, those pants were kinda ugly though" the girl responded. she was shocked that zach had noticed all of that from only being around each other for two weeks. "come onnnn, just tell me something you have never told anyone before." zach pleaded. "okay well. this is going to sound so stupid and lame but i have just never told anyone and i guess you get to be the first person to know" the girl sighed. "i am kind of afraid of relationships because when you let people in it is just easier for them to walk right out. like my ex boyfriend who cheated on me and made me feel like nothing. he even knew i was scared of relationships and promised he wouldn't hurt me, but he did" the girl said started to tear up. "i also wrote a song about him and everyone assumed that was my way of saying i was over him and that i didn't care. but it was my way of getting over him, but it didn't mean that it didn't hurt any less you know?" sloane finally looked up at zach who was looking at her with sympathetic eyes. it hurt zach to hear that sloane had been hurt so bad. she was amazing and didn't deserve that.
