She tiptoed down the old creaky staircase of her parents home, very much aware of her father's strict rule of not going out past 11:30pm.

Who is This monster that decided to go out this late in the night you ask? Well of course non other than the well known trouble maker, Caroline Vlad.

"Stop right there! For I shall decapitate you!" She stops dead in her tracks, afraid of what's to come.

"Father! I can explain!" Surprised when met with nothing but the end of the wooden staircase behind her, She suddenly remembers her Father's history of sleep talking whenever he is in deep sleep, thankful that she hadn't woken up the beast she hurriedly made her way into the kitchen where she is seen sneaking out the back door.

"Carry! Over here!" She hears someone whisper her name, jogging towards the black silhouette behind the old oak tree in their backyard.

"James, sorry I took so long. I almost pissed my pants hearing my Father sleep talk" Caroline and her ghoul friend, James share a laugh then made their way to Lia's house, their witch friend.

Caroline shifts into a bat as soon as they reach their witch friends fence, she flies straight into their friends open window and shifts back once she lands on a clear area "Took you long enough, I was about to go on my own" Lia grabs her broom and flew out the window, Caroline right behind her.

"The party is starting soon so we better hurry up" James rode the broom with Lia while Caroline stayed a flying bat.

It took them at least 10 minutes to arrive at an abandoned warehouse with bright lights and loud music erupting from it.

They all let loose once they were in the warehouse, all going in different directions where most likely they would meet at the entrance just right before sunrise.

They made a promise not to drink more than 2 glasses of beer, wine or anything including alcohol.

The Vampire could be found under a secret detachable wooden plank by the kitchen which was the soul purpose of joining her friends to this party they go to every Sunday.

You see, she slowly built a secret underground Library filled with different kinds of books, potions, maps, simple weapons and many more.

She carefully dusted one of the first books she brought in here, particularly the book of the ancient Rose color tattoo.

She would often read this when she was curious about how it works or its origin.

"Cupid visited one of the most powerful witch in all of the land and proposed a deal, she would help him create a spell which would make every single monster have a Rose tattoo appear on their body the second they turn 18"

As she read that, she remembered that she was going to turn 18 in a matter of months, she tries to think of all the possible combination of colors to appear on the Rose but sadly enough non of them seamed appealing to her as she didn't really care about this well known tattoo.

The three stayed in the warehouse for a couple more hours until they decided it was time to head back since sun rise was in 30 minutes and they couldn't stand the fact of getting caught by their parents.

They all met up by Lia's broom which was hidden behind some bushes by the entrance.

"James, get on so we could get back quicker" he shook his head and turned to the direction of the forest behind them "No I'll just walk, I need to clear my head for a moment"

The two girls were both concerned and confused but decided to let it slide and took off, leaving their friend to wonder around before heading home.

One girl in particular kept on checking behind her back every 2 minutes or so "Lia, why not just walk with him if you keep looking back like that" she really did not understand why Lia liked James so much, sure he is their childhood friend but you wouldn't fine her simping over James like Lia does.

They both stop, staying still before Caroline decided to land on Lia's broom and shift, making the broom dip a little "No, I'm just worried. What if he gets lost on the way back?" She took one last glance before sighing and deciding to just worry about her little crush when she was alone.

The two girls land on Caroline's backyard, bidding fair well before Lia flies off and Caroline enters her home.

She checks her phone and sees that there was still about 20 minutes before sunrise.

She heads straight to her room so she could get even just a bit of shut eye before she has to leave to the towns Library to get an enrollment slip to the best Monster University in the whole world before it runs out.

"Caroline Vlad! If you don't open this door I will call your father!" The constant banging on her bedroom door and her Mom's daring voice forced her to wake up in under 30 minutes of sleep.

Or maybe it was because she was at a party all night reading books and testing potions, nevertheless she was exhausted.

She lazily drags her feet across the room to open the door "Mom, it's still so early" suddenly her soul escaped her body as she remembers about the limited amount of enrollment slips being handed out at the town library.

"Oh my Cupid! Mom why didn't you wake me up sooner?!" She left her mother with a not surprised look on her face as she made her way downstairs.

"Morning dad!" Caroline leaves her parents to do whatever they please as she tumbles around town trying to get to the Library before anyone.

Once she reached the Library she was already panting while still racing to the entrance "Wait! save that last slip!" the librarians stare at her with a blank look on their face "What are you talking about? Your the first one here"

Slightly embarrassed by her actions she waddles to the stack of papers on the brown desk at the entrance of the library "Name, birth date, age, reason of going to this school and last but not least what kind of monster are you" She nods at the instructions on how to fill out the yellow enrollment slip.

While sitting on one of the tables in the library, Caroline quickly fills out the from in order to be on top of the stacks of papers to be sent to the University, but she was shocked when there were a long line at the front of the library that reaches until the clothing store that was 3 stores apart from the library.

She didn't mind the large amount of teenagers in line to be accepted in the university since the only thing that matters to her is that she and her friends get into the University.
