Sounds of feet tapping could be heard through out the house, disturbing anyone who tried to get some shut eye.

The reason for these bothering sounds was the vampire girl running back and forth in her room, taking things from dressers, hidden cabinets, any compartment hidden or not was opened and either emptied out or had a few more things sitting in them.

"Clothes, shoes, books, potions..." her voice trailed off as she checked everything in her bag.

It was really interesting watching the girl wander back and forth. She wont even notice you even if you make the loudest sound possible.

She almost didn't even catch the beeping sound of the bus outside if it wasn't for her parents rushing in her room with anticipation "Caroline, the bus is here. Take care, make sure you don't trust anyone so easily"

They warn her as she chuckles at their worried antics "Mom, Dad I'm sure I'll be ok" she grabs her two bags from her bed and hug both of her parents as this would be her last time seeing them for a long time.

"I'll call your brother" her mother says and exits the room "Caroline, I want you to have this" her father hands her a gold amulet  which she gladly accepts.

"Dad, you don't need to worry too much. I can take care of myself" she excuses herself and went downstairs where she waited for her family to bid her goodbye.

"Carry, take care and don't wander around without James or Lia" she smiles at her brothers hidden love for her "I wont- wait they got accepted?!" he nods "I thought you knew"

"I had been too exited to even ask them"

They said their goodbye's and shared hugs before the bus horn beeped again and she finally had to go.

She entered the bus and to her surprise her two bestfriends were already there waiting for her, sitting by the end where they saved the window seat for the delighted girl.

James was seated in the seat beside them since the seats were only two seater one's, sadly the back row which had connected seats were already taken.

The bus wasn't even halfway full when they zoom up into the sky, the bus suddenly growing wings and lifting them in the air.

Lia shook the sleeping girl beside her, anticipated in exiting the bus "Hey! Come on wake up! We're the last ones in the bus!" She groans, not really appreciating that her friend had to wake her up so harshly.

They exited the bus and took their bags from the compartment which held their belongings, they looked around and they saw other teenagers as well, they were quite a few . This shows that not everyone can get into such a integrated school.

They stared up at the castle like building in awe, having not seen a structure so ancient but still having that modern touch.

Yelps could be heard behind the trio, turns out one of the students that had started snooping around was suddenly turned into a frog before a thick cloud enveloped the new comers.

"Children, settle down for I have taken measures into my own account. You were clearly instructed by the bus conductor not to meddle with things here while you waited for the head mistress, turns out some of you just can't resist the crawling under your skin to touch something your not supposed to"

The cloud disappeared and what came into view wasn't very surprising, a witch stood before them, witches aren't rare in any village its just that people don't really figure out who the witch is among them. Only few are actually found out since books were filled with wrong descriptions about them, having too little knowledge of their existence. They were described as ugly and had a green skin tone and a mole on the tip of their nose, sure some witches that exist look like that but now you wouldn't be seeing them walking around the streets.

The witches now looked like everyone else in the village, just like the one standing in front of them now. She had black long wavy hair, and kind but stern facial features, she wore a long black dress that puffed up at the bottom like a gown, paired with a black hat and a wooden stick that classifies as her wand.

"I'm guessing this is the head mistress?" James whispered to both Lia and Caroline, earning a nod in return as the next words spoken by the witch confirms his theory "My name is Ophelia Laveau, you are required to call me Mrs. Laveau as I am the head mistress in EMU and no one is allowed to drop their honorifics in this school"

"Ms. Beatrix will be escorting you around the school and will be explaining the rules around here. You would be able to find here in the front desk right when you enter the school, but if you still don't see the front desk then theirs a map on every floor beside the stairs" With that she disappears once again leaving the trail of green dust floating in the air.

They all avoid the said dust and scurry in the school to meet Ms. Beatrix, which they found very easily but they weren't expecting her to be a skeleton.

"Ah! You must be the new students am I right? I'm looking into my computer for your records and I see that you all have great knowledge. Anyway let's get moving shall we? I'm sure you all are tired from the long trip so let's get this tour and introduction over in a gippy so you all can rest and settle down"

She took them around the whole school and showed them each and every room then told each rooms purpose, now it was time for the rules.

"The rules here are only a few so no need to be worried, although when a rule is set it cannot be lifted unless the head mistress does so, I suggest you follow these rules thoroughly in order to not get into trouble"

The sun had begun to set which caught the attention of Ms. Beatrix "It looks as if that I won't be able to escort you to your rooms as I have a very uptight schedule done for today. I am forced to give each of you your room numbers and keys, accompanied with the list of rules you would need to follow through out your stay here in EMU"

Two pieces of paper were handed out to each of them and a set of keys that opens their dorm door and bedroom door.

Caroline stared down at her room number, written on it was the numbers 207 with the name Elaine at the bottom, she assumed that it was the name of her roommate. Which turned out to be correct when the dorm door opens and reveals a girl right about her age or younger which had a black sclera and bright red iris, now unlike ghouls she doesn't have any red lines surrounding her eyes which leads to one conclusion.

'Demon'

"You must be one of the new comers?" the demon asks, Caroline gives her a dirty look and pushes her way past the shocked girl "I'm sorry? did I do anything to upset you?" Caroline stops dead in her tracks, she was like a boiling kettle but she was even more dangerous.

"Your a demon, that alone upsets me" without anything else to say Caroline turns into the hallway where her figure disappears. Just now did the girl notice that her new roommate had red glowing irises 'She's a vampire, she must still be angry about the fight between my grandfather and dracula'  the girl thought before exiting the dorm.

Caroline sighs when she hears the front door shut, finally getting some peace that no demon was anywhere near her, although she was pretty sure there were more of them to come. She unpacks her bags and managed to put her things away faster than the speed of light, She is a vampire after all.

Her tired muscles sink into the surprisingly soft mattress, giving her aching back a break before they need to go to class tomorrow.

Darkness soon envelopes her as unconsciousness took over her 'I need to thank Lia for those sleeping potions'  it was the last thing in her mind before drifting off to sleep.
