No room for friends

Illumi pov
My entire life I have always thought it was better to be alone because when you find someone that you really care about they always get taken away from you, but these past weeks with Hisoka have been amazing and it feels great to finally have a friend again. I was kinda tired so I laid down and slowly drifted off to sleep.
S=Silva(Illumi's father)
Flashback
"Dad I made a friend while I was out today"
S-"Friend?"
"Yeah" I said with the biggest grin on my face.
S-"I told you that you can't have friends. Nobody wants to be friends with an assassin"
"But when I told him  he said it was fine"
S-" I DON'T CARE WHAT HE SAID. Now because of you not following the rules I have to take care of this friend of yours"
"No dad please" I said my eyes watering.
S- " THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT NOW I HAVE TO KILL HIM BECAUSE OF YOU"
Fast forward 15 minutes later
"Dad please don't hurt him" my eyes hurting from crying so much.
F=Friend(he never told him his name)
F- "illu it's okay well meet again one day" he gave me a envelope.
F- "not now wait until the time is right" I nodded.
My father had the butlers escort me back to the car.
End of flashback
Illumi pov
I shot up breathing heavy covered in sweat. I had forgotten about the letter until recently and I decided to look for it. I turned my room upside down looking for the letter until finally I found a small box hidden under my bed. I picked it up and opened it pulling the letter out.

Dear illu
I know we didn't know each other very long but you were my first friend and I care about you. When the time comes that you read this I will be 25 which means you will be 21 I told you that I would meet you again and I will I probably won't remember that it's you if we do meet but just now I still have a soft spot in my heart for you.

P.S I'm not dead :)
My eyes lit up at the last few words. What? He isn't dead?? I have to find him , I have to go right now. I should ask gon to help me since he is good at these types of things. ( text messages)
Me: hey gon I need your help
Gon: hi illumi it's so nice to hear from you, what do you need?
Me: well I need help finding someone
Gon: oh okay, meet me at my hotel and I'll see what I can do.
Me: ok send me the address
1 hour later
Gon pov
I hear a knock at the door so I jump up and run to see who it is. I open it and see illumi even though I could feel his aura I still wasn't expecting him to get up here so quick. "Hey Gon" " Hii illumi come in" he walked in and I brung him to my room. " so let's get started. Do you have anything of this person?" He pulled out a letter and have it to me. It looked old like a couple years old maybe 10 or longer but I had no problem as long as this person had their hands on it it will work." I haven't done this in 2 years so it will take some time to get the sce- GOT IT" I hopped off the bed and started sniffing around like a dog shortly after illumi followed me out the hotel and out of the building I started running in different directions until we stopped at another hotel it felt like only five minutes but we were running for about an hour . I stopped and looked confused because I was smelling this scent coming from every room in the hotel.
