Ayaan's POV
I hate myself for what I did to her. I promised myself to make her happy always and I only became the reason for her tears. The time I saw her eyes welling up with tears I wanted to do nothing but to take her in my arms and kiss her. And to tell her that I didn't mean it.
But I didn't have any choice. I had to do this. I hated her parents when they said that they will take her away from me but I couldn't be selfish. They were insecure because of what Raj did to Alia and it's my responsibility to make them feel secure regarding Alia and me.
At that time, I didn't agree with them but when I thought about this, I realized it was for the better. It will make Alia stronger, confident, and independent. I know this could not happen here without this separation but here she will always be in support of me.
And I didn't want her to rely on me or anyone for any kind of support. She will grow much stronger if she stays away from me sometimes. So that when the right time comes for fighting with Raj, she will be ready. Because what I am planning for him, Alia is going to play a major role in that.
Raj is the only barrier in our lives. If Alia wins against Raj and her inner battles there will be nothing which will be stopping us in reuniting and living together forever.
With these thoughts going in my mind, I entered the mansion and headed towards my room. After ordering Alia to leave with her family, I went outside to cool off. If I had stayed in the mansion, I would have gone back to Alia to comfort her in a heartbeat. But I had to be strong.
I opened my room door to saw it was pitch dark, only the moon's light was entering inside the room through the window. I slowly entered the room to saw a figure standing near the window facing outside.
When I came near the bed, I knew who was that person. The love of my life. Mi Cielo, My Alia. I started walking towards her but then remembered that I have to show my bad side or else she won't leave with her family.
"What're you doing here?" I asked in a cold voice.
She slowly turned her face towards my direction. And my heart skipped a beat or two, she looked so beautiful like a fallen angel. I gulped seeing her. She was wearing the red saree which I brought for her but never got the courage to give her.
