Ayaan's POV
I was excited till a few minutes back thinking about my first date with Alia and how I was going to surprise her. But it all had to ruin by that idiot Raj and his family.
I knew Raj came to India today and will definitely do something to get Alia back or to harm her. But didn't knew that he will do it so soon. When Stefan called me saying that he spotted Raj outside Aliaa's house with his family, I hurriedly came here because I didn't want him to harm her or her family.
Stefan was assigned by me only to keep an eye on Alia to make sure she stays out of danger. If I had said this to Alia, she would have shown tantrums saying I am over-possessive and don't trust her and whatnot. That's why Stefan guarded her discreetly so, that she won't suspect him.
Although, her family was with her and will not let any harm come to her. But I didn't want to take any chance. And I knew he won't try anything in my presence.
When I reached there, I waited for a few minutes to analyse what was going there. And my main focus on Aliaa's reaction. I wanted her to react or say something, fight back. But she didn't say anything. I guess it was still too early for her to fight back.
The second I heard Raj's mother accusing Alia about having an affair with Raj's friend and boss, Instantly I knew that Raj had fed lies to his family. I wanted to chock him till death then and there only but I controlled myself and remembered my promise which I made to myself.
When I saw Raj going to touch Alia with his disgusting hands, I decided to make my presence known.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," I said standing on the entrance leaning my figure on the door with crossed arms.
Listening to my voice, everyone turned towards me. I could see relief in Aliaa's family's eyes and shock in Raj's eyes. To be honest, it felt great to know that her family trusts me. But my eyes were on Alia who was looking so beautiful and cute in her blue dress. Although her makeup was ruined because of all the crying she still managed to make my heart skip a beat or two.
"What the fuck are you doing here? It's a family gathering, outsiders are not allowed," Raj attempted to be stern and intimidated but it didn't affect me. In fact, I could see that he was shocked by my sudden appearance.
"Well, if it's a family gathering then what are you doing here. Last I checked you are not part of this family," I stood between him and Alia hiding her frame behind me. And gave a look towards Aliaa's family so that they let me handle this situation.
"Who are you?" Raj's mom I presumed asked me to see his son getting intimidated by someone's presence.
"I am that person whom you accused having an affair with Alia a few minutes back. Though, it's true. I am Aliaa's boyfriend. But Alia didn't have an extramarital affair. We started dating after Raj exchanged her to me for a deal," I answered her.
