♡Chapter 1♡ (Friends and Homeroom)

♪June 4, 2012; Monday: Virgil and Vanessa's first day of school♪

      Sanders High. New life, alot of first times and a regular highschool and not the homeschooling with creepy tutors. No creepy men, an actual reality instead of just fake manipulative words from other people but is it actually safe here..? They just need to see after 16 years of being a prisoner of their parents and entertainment industry. They only seen movies of it. Toxic cheerleaders, bully jocks and ruthless quiet kids. All really bad and harmful stereotypes.

       Standing infront of this gigantic school with new people you don't know and who might be either your fans, haters and mutuals but you don't really know who they are. What they are. You are new here after all, fresh and new meat for the dangers you think you might come across. Your knees starts to shake, adrenaline courses through you and heartbeat beating wild against your chest remembering all the movies about highschool that you have watched and starred in fearing what would happen if you enter the doors of that giant building.

        The feeling of anxiety that eyes are all over you when they were not. This was the feeling of dread that plagued Virgil and Vanessa Storm minds as they walked out of the car of they're adoptive parents, Elmer and David Picani, who were the therapists that were helping them after being rescued by the police. It took a while for them to actually call them 'dad' and 'father' but they will get there eventually.

      "Are you ready for a new change? Just breathe, it will be alright."

     They looked at him. His name is Emile Picani, he is the son of the Picani couple or they now call him their big brother. Emile uses he/him pronouns. Emile had an average height, he was 5'5, a little bit taller than Vanessa and Virgil who are 5'4. He had really light brown eyes but if you look at him, you can almost see a more pink-ish hue on them. It suits him due to his pink and light brown therapist like aesthetic. He had curly hair and square black rimmed glasses. He always seemed to carry a note book and pen wherever he goes, sometimes even a book on human psychology. He was a little pale but he has a healthy skin color. He also had milk chocolate brown hair that make him look really attractive to people.

      "Who said we're scared? Do we look scared to you?"

        It came off as sarcastic and scolding but they didn't know what to say after not having to actually interact to people before. Due to their 'parents' having repulsive and sarcastic tendencies rubbed off on both of them as a defense mechanism. Trusting no one but themselves. It was unhealthy, behavior but both teenagers can't help themselves. Not just that they didn't want to be hurt and keep it to themselves. No matter how touch staved they are they didn't want help they have each other.

       They're characteristics and personalities are both the same except a few things but they always seemed like they were mirroring each other in every was possible. They way they dress, their speech, sometimes even movements. When they were first introduce to the couple they were wild. Throwing tantrums when they are away from each other, spiting insults and sarcastic remarks everywhere. They tone down on it a little but still have the same tense and threatening aura they have before. Always on fight or flight mode, ready to attack or run away in every situation possible.

        As for their looks, as been mentioned before they are both 5'4 but Virgil maybe and centimeter taller than so. They are both malnourished and sickly pale in which the Picanis are trying to fix. They both have a form of heterochromia. Virgil having a dark brown eye on the right and an emerald green on the left and Vanessa was the opposite. Unlike other teenagers, they are really a late bloomers due to the lack of nutrients. They both have a dark chocolate hair with purple tips for Virgil and electric blue for Vanessa. Virgil's hair was short and messy. He kept his bangs long to cover my his eyes. Vanessa seeing this also did the the same but kept her hair length at her hips. Virgil uses He/They but he used He/Him more often while Vanessa used She/Her
