Walking down the hallway I looked over my shoulder one last time to make sure that no one was behind me.
It was currently half 2 and Zayn had gone out to a business meeting accompanied by Shea and Ace. Taking this as my opportunity to search for anything that could give away what caused my memory loss.
Reaching Zayn's office I pushed down the handle being surprisingly shocked that the door was unlocked. Entering the room I made my way over to his desk to look for any evidence.
After opening every drawer in the desk only to find nothing useful I sighed ready to give up. That was when out of the corner of my eye I noticed a small compartment in the wall.
Sadly the compartment was locked which then sent me on a different journey of guessing the code. Seeing letters below the numbers I decided to try 383 for my name. And would you know it the compartment opened. "Bingo."
At the sight of what was inside the compartment my eyes began to tear up. I usually tried not to cry but this was different. In my hands I held a picture of what I assume was 7 year old me and the boys. My smile was so wide you would think my mouth was about to rip. I was being held by a man who I assume must of been my father and beside him was a beautiful woman who i also assume was my mother. Even the boys all had smiles on their faces.
What happened to this happy family and how in hell did I end up in Ireland in the foster system.
Noticing a file on the bottom of the compartment I picked it up finding my name on it.
Eve Ricci
7 years old

Brought in with severe head trauma and bullet wound. Not expected to make it through the night.Severe memory loss with no memory of previous life eldest brother and new guardian has decided to put Eve in foster care.
Head trauma and a bullet wound! How the fuck does a 7 year old end up with a bullet wound. Another thing that caught my eye was that Zayn was my new legal guardian since the age of 7. So what happened to my parents?
Wow how wanted I feel.
Closing the door to Zayn's office carefully I scurried off to my bedroom quickly to process everything that I had discovered.

"Hey Eve I was um wondering if you would want to watch a movie maybe," Ace said as he peeked his head around my door.Eve though I was still annoyed at my brothers over yesterday's argument I dint want to hurt his feelings. "Um sure when we're you thinking," "Now if you want to," "ok."Getting up I followed Ace towards the cinema room which was still mind blowing to me. "Choose anything you want within reason," Ace said whilst handing me the remote.
I scrolled through the lists of movies I decided on the first purge. "What's the age," I rolled my eyes which earned me a tap on the shoulder. "15 why," "Well because leannán you are 14," Ace smirked although I could tell by his tone that he meant business. "Fine then we'll just watch the hustle and if your wondering it's a 12." Ace nodded in response and I turned the movie on.
About half way through the movie I started to get bored. My mind automatically began to wonder to my findings earlier in the day. A frown took place on my face. "Hey what's wrong leannán." I looked up to see Ace looking at me closely trying to determine what could be bothering me.
"It doesn't matter really," "No it obviously does so tell me now." Sighing in defeat I took a second to decide how to word my response. "Well I don't even know how to say this without getting in trouble so before you shout at me hear me out. Today I went looking for answers about my life before whatever put me in hospital and I found pictures of 7 year old me with a happy family and my hospital records." Ace glanced down at me a look of shock covering his face which was quickly concealed by a cold look.
