Lying on my bed a smile traced my lips. My brothers may think that they have won but alas they are from from winning that trophy. Ultimately I had decided that I would suggest to my brothers that it would be a good idea to invite Rachel over so that I could cook a forgiveness meal. A painful one at that.
Joy overcame me as I imagined my brothers and Rachel, dining around a table tucking into their food, all the while I watch in happiness as they unknowingly tuck into their painful delight.
They should know by now not to anger me. They treated me like a child and clearly favoured miss princess over their own blood.
Staring back at my phone the bar whirred and my answer popped up on the screen carolina reaper. An extremely hot pepper which would leave them writhing in pain and maybe a bad case of diarrhoea.
The only problem was that I was unsure where I was going to get this pepper from. I knew that the walmart or target wouldn't sell this pepper so I looked it up on amazon. Thankfully I had been given my own debit card whilst in the foster system which I had stored some money on just incase of an emergency.
I purchased the pepper with my card just to be sure that my brothers wouldn't find out about it and cleverly had it shipped to Aisha's house rather than mine.
With next day delivery it would be here by tomorrow morning which was all fine as I was planning to make this surprise for the following night.
Rushing out of my bedroom, I scurried down the stairs towards the kitchen.
Even though Rachel wasn't coming until the following night I was still tasked with preparing tonight's dinner.
I wasn't the worlds best cook and usually opted for a ready meal or freezer food when I was cooking for myself, but something told me that my brothers wouldn't be too impressed by that arrangement.
So instead I opted for pasta with a carbonara sauce with bits of bacon and ham through the dish. Simple and easy otherwise it would end up either burnt to a crisp or raw.
Starting on my meal I danced around the kitchen singing to my playlist. My favourite song came on "slow down" by Chase Atlantic. If I could marry any song that would be it.
Boiling the pasta I began on my bacon and started to cut all of the bits of fat from it. This meal had to be nice so that my brothers wouldn't suspect a thing.
I continued on with my cooking until I had finished and was playing all of my food.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Ace walk into the kitchen, peering over at me he gave me a curious look before continuing on to his seat at the table.
"DINNER," I hollered up the stairs, these brothers of mine wouldn't hear me otherwise although I do just think they've started to block me out.
The sound of footsteps coming down the stairs made me giggle. I could only wonder what they would think of their dinner.
Finally once they were all seated I slid their bowls across the table, setting mine down last. Promptly I sat down and began to eat.
Glancing around the table I could see all of my brothers glaring at me.
"What," I questioned with sass. Before someone could reprimand me I had already mocked them "enough of that cheek," I mocked.
Zayn obviously didn't find it funny as he just continued to glare at me.
Cautiously Ace took a bite of his food. I watched as he wearily chewed the food before swallowing.
Each of my brothers watched intently almost as if they had suspected me to do something to the food. As if J would ever do that right!
