Just Friends

This was requested by @Bluelittledream. I hope that I have done it justice. ENJOY

The Y/L/N family and Verstappen family have been good friends for as long as anyone can remember. They only got closer when Y/N, Max and Victoria were born.

The three children were the bestest of friends and grew up together. You would always be able to find the trio together and no matter what they would rarely be apart.

Max and Y/N were especially close and one summer they tried being something more than friends. They were each other's first kiss and first relationship. In the end, they just worked better as friends so that's all they were.

Y/N always supported Max's dream of being a professional racing driver like his dad. So when Max told her that he had gotten into Formula 1, she was the proudest person on the planet! At this point, Y/N decided to study management and would later go on to become Max's manager.

Max had started dating Dilara and Y/N couldn't stand her. The feeling was mutual. Dilara hates Max and Y/N's friendship. She hates how close they are and if she could, she would ban Max from seeing Y/N. Unfortunately for her, being Max's manager meant Y/N was at every race and they would constantly be together.

Working closely with her best friend wasn't the only reason Y/N loved her job. Y/N gets to travel the world, drive an Aston Martin, have access to the most exclusive clubs, and live in a beautiful apartment in gorgeous Monaco!

Y/N gets paid an amount of money, every kid dreams of as a kid. She could buy anything she ever wanted yet Max still wanted to gift her with many beautiful gifts. She tell him to stop and to not bother but Max doesn't listen; he says Y/N deserves it for being by his side all this time. Her favourite gift was a necklace with a 'M' on it, which stands for Max.

In the end, Dilara's opinion doesn't matter. Max and Y/N were just friends and would only be friends. Their past relationship would remain in the past and she has better things to do than worry about teeny drama!

When the PR guys were trying to find new content for their YouTube channel, they turned to Max and Y/N. They asked them if they could film the pair asking each other questions so they could get some funny content.

Neither Max nor Y/N had the motivation to it but they did it to not let people down. Once they started they had lots of fun! They just laughed around and reminisced on old memories. They joked about and teasingly flirted with each other. In the end it just proved how they work best as friends and why they are friends.

This isn't my greatest work and I had terrible writer's block trying to write this. I would have written some of the video but I can't write flirting and I also tend to drag on so I didn't bother. Hope you liked it but I won't be offended if you didn't.
