Unexpected Surprise!

Lando rushed inside so he could see Y/N. She had felt ill so she refused to go to his race weekend and possible compromise his health. He walked inside, dropped his bag and made his way through the house.

Lando first checked the living room to find CBeebies left on the TV. Then when he checked the kitchen, there was a bottle of milk and baby toys left on the counter top. This just left Lando confused. Had she been babysitting?

Lando then moved into the dinning room. On top of the table there was a white box addressed to Lando. He opened it to find a tiny Lando McLaren top, some tiny little baby shoes, a positive pregnancy test and a picture frame with a baby scan. In the frame it read: See you in April!

"No way..." Lando breathed out.

"Yes way." Y/N said as she emerged out of the shadows in the corner of the room. "Baby Norris will be joining our family very soon."

"So you weren't sick, you were preparing this!"

"Oh no, I was sick. Morning sickness. But it will all be worth it when our daughter arrives."

"I hope you mean our son."

"Nah! It will be a girl. I can sense it." Y/N told him, putting her hands on her stomach.

"Whatever you say, sweetie." Lando walked over and gave her a hug from behind, leaving his hands on her stomach.

Lando and Y/N were both really excited. Today, after their appointment, they would be heading to their gender reveal party.

The nurse guided them into a room and proceeded to start the scan. After a minute, she began to talk,

"It seems we have misread your scan but I hope you will both be happy with the results."

"Okay..." Y/N nervously answered.

"You're expecting,"

"We know that. That's why we're here!"

"No I mean, you're expecting... twins!

"What?!" Lando whispered in shock.

"By that reaction, am I to assume it's not common in you're family?"

"Twins do actually run in my family, but there hasn't been a set in generations." Y/N told them.

"I'll leave you two to talk for a minute." The nurse left the couple with their thoughts.

"What do you want to do?" Lando asked.

"I want to keep them!" She exclaimed, looking at Lando with a shocked face.

"So do I! But what I mean is our parents, family; how do we tell them?" Y/N thought for a moment before replying,

"We don't."

"What!"

We don't tell them." She told him again. "We keep it as a surprise for once they are born."

"You sure you want to do that?"

"I do."

"3...2...1...WOO!"

The couple popped the black balloon to have lots of blue confetti fly everywhere. Y/N pulled a pouty face before laughing and smiling along with everyone else. They all knew she hoped for a girl.

Everyone congratulated them on their baby boy and tried to sneak some baby names out of them. Unfortunately for them, Lando and Y/N hadn't been discussing names yet.
