Electric Love

Alex was not entirely willing to out clubbing that night however they were doing it to celebrate Lando's first podium. He didn't want to be there as it should have been his podium but he was going to support his friend.

The boys all passed through into the club that was surprisingly busy for a Sunday night. Being F1 drivers gave them VIP passes so they were able to get a good table to themselves.

Alex was listening to the girl singing when he realised how familiar it sounded. He couldn't put his finger on it but he knew that voice from somewhere.

"That singer sounds amazing, doesn't she?" Lando stated.

"She looks just as good as she sounds!" George exclaimed, pointing towards the girl on stage.

Alex's breath got caught in his throat. He could recognise his girlfriend anywhere and that was her. He knew she was a singer but he never knew she was here.

The worst part was that their relationship was a secret and George was debating on hitting on her! And Lando supported his decision. It was now the next song came on and he refinished it as their song.

"This is for all the cute couples in the room! This song is quite special to me so come and dance along!" Y/N announced, thinking about her boyfriend and her vibing to this song on one of their dates.

Y/N took this brief pause to take a look round the room. She almost forgot what she was doing when she met her boyfriend's eyes. He seemed just as shocked as she was. When she resumed singing, she was now singing to him, rarely leaving his eyes.

"Is it me or is she singing towards this table?" George asked.

"She totally is!" Lando exclaimed.

"So who is she singing to?" George wondered aloud. Alex wasn't taking part in their conversation, he never stopped watching Y/N. He was mesmerised by seeing her in her natural state.

As Y/N walked off the stage heading towards their table, Alex also stood up and began walking to meet her in the middle.

"Mate, what are you doing?" Lando tried to pull him back down but it was useless so he just watched his friend.

The rest of the room didn't matter anymore. It was just them and their song. Y/N focused on him and just smiled as she sang.

Alex gave her a huge hug and kissed her forehead. Y/N looked over to the DJ who took over with the songs for a while.

"What are you doing here?!" She exclaimed.

"I'm here celebrating Lando's podium. What are you doing here?!"

"This is where I work. I can't believe you're here!"

"Neither can I!"

"So can I meet your friends seen as their staring at us?"

"Sure but prewarned, it's going to get awkward. They were planning on asking you out!" Alex told her. Y/N just laughed in response. They walked back to the table and rejoined the group.

"Guys, meet Y/N. Y/N meet Lando and George."

"Hi?" They both responded.

"Y/N is my girlfriend." The boys widened their eyes in response.

"You mean to say..." Lando began.

"You were going to let us hit on your girlfriend!" George finished.

"Well that was quite an awkward moment but you know now!" Alex smiled.

"So how long have you two been together?" Lando asked.

"About 5 months." Y/N told them.

"And you never told us!" Lando fake gasped!

"For good reason. I wanted her to get to know me without my crazy mates getting in the way and scaring her off!"

"You know, your a lot less insane than Alex made you out to be." Y/N stated.

"He called us insane!" George exclaimed.

"No. He basically called you guys insane x 1000. I've just downgraded it. Oh and Alex, that look in their eyes, yeah you have the same one sometimes. You might want to run."

Alex jumped up and ran off away from the table, the boys in quick pursuit. This just left Y/N at the table, laughing her head off.

"Boys." She sighed, rolling her eyes.

This is just pure cuteness in honour of Alex's maiden podium! Also because Alex is so underrated!
