Author's POV
Jeanette was crossing the street. untill simon came up to her.
Simon: hey Jeanette
Jeanette: oh hey simon!
Simon's POV
I was riding my bike around the neighbourhood untill I saw Jeanette. The girl I wanted to ask to the school dance. She was alone so maybe this could be my chance to ask her.
Simon: hey Jeanette
Jeanette: Oh hey simon!
Simon: so where are you heading?
Jeanette: I'm going to see Oliver at the park
Since when does she talk to Oliver. I felt a little intence on my finger tips. What is this feeling? is it jealousy? no, I can't be jealous over my best friend.
Simon: is it okay if I tag along?
Jeanette: I'd love that. But I don't know if Oliver would like it.
Simon: That's okay. why don't I drop you off at the park, it'll be faster
Jeanette: Okay, sounds great
She sat behind me and hugged me a little tight so that she wouldn't fall off. My bike was pretty big so we could fit. If felt so romantic. But I wasn't going to drop her off and leave. My plan was that after droping jeanette off at the park I would pretend that I left, then hide behind a bush so I can eavesdrop on their conversation. It felt wrong and I normaly wouldn't do this but my curiosity got the best of me.
Simon: we're here
Jeanette: wow, that was fast
Simon: um..Jeanette ?
Jeanette: Yes?
Simon: W-would you like to hang out later, you know just..you and me
I was nervously asking her while scratching my neck.
Jeanette: really? ofcourse I would like to hang out
Simon: Perfect, just text me what time you would like to hang out. I'm free all day.
Jeanette: Alright, see you later simon
Simon: Bye Jeanette
But this wasn't over yet. I hid behind the bush nearest to the bench Jeanette and Oliver were sitting. But they were only talking about basic things like, interests,parties, school friends for about 15 mins stright. I was just about to give up untill a sentance he said got my attention.
Oliver: I really want to ask this girl out to the school dance but don't really know how to.
so I stayed to listen more. I didn't like the feeling of where this was going.
