Chapter 7: shooting stars

(Steve's POV)

Me and Sam had just walked outside to find everyone was already there. I couldn't help but notice Natasha was wearing some boyfriend shorts with one of my T-shirt, she looked stunning to say the least.

"Right everyone come sit on the hammock we're playing a game" Tony shouted. There was a big hammock literally over the sea, we all gathered and snuggled together to play a game of the famous Truth or dare. All the kids were currently in the games room being watched by Peter, meaning us adults could get some adult time. I was sat down in between Maria and Wanda, Natasha was sat next to Tony and Pepper who were opposite me, Hope and Scott were on my left with Thor and Jane on my right. There were lots of cushions and blankets over the place if anyone wanted them.

"Because it's a tradition stark night game I'm starting by asking Thor, truth or dare point break" Tony said cheekily. "Nothing is to much for the god of thunder, dare" "alright I dare you throw your pop tarts into the sea" "WHAT?! Are you serious tin man" Thor gave after 5 minutes of groaning and threw one box of pop tarts into the sea, I swear I even saw him send a tear.

The night was full of fun dares and truths, Maria had to sit in Sam's lap for a whole round but she ended up just staying there, Sam then admitted he liked Maria and asked her to be his girl friend. Clint had to give Scott and piggy back and jump in the sea and Bucky had to tell everyone his secret in how he kept his hair in perfect condition.

"Stevo truth or dare" Clint asked me, "hit me with a dare" I say with confidence. "Oooooh before I say this please don't kill me"

"I dare you to kiss Natasha." I instantly felt my cheeks blush, everyone was eyeing me up. I had to do it it was a dare, and I secretly really wanted to kiss her anyway. Both me and Natasha stood up she came over to me and placed her one hand on my chest and the other on my cheek. My hands instantly went to her waist and our lips met, the kiss went on a little long then expected, it was sweet and passionate. Once our lips unlocked she smiled and went and sat back down. "Well that just happened" Wanda said excitedly.

"Shut up Wanda or I'll spill the time I walked in on you are Barnes doing it" Natasha threatened. Wanda and Bucky both immediately blush.

(Nat's POV)

I can't say I didn't like the kiss because I did, it was incredible. Much better then the one in the mall when we were in the run from hydra. For a 100 year old virgin he's one of the best I've ever kissed.

"Natasha truth or dare" Hope asked, "I can do a dare".

"Hmmm... sit in Steve's lap for the rest of the evening". I didn't even hesitate, I just stud up walked over to Steve, he made room for me to sit down and I did, he wrapped his arms around my waist and I looked over at Maria who gave me a wink.

The night kept going on until the 4 children and Peter came out and joined us on the hammock. Morgan and Peter cuddled up next to their mom and dad while Nathaniel and cooper did the same, Lila came to me and Steve and lay with us. We all lay under the stars and watched them for what felt like hours.

"Me and Sam are going to bed" Maria said while being helped up by sam, "have fun you two, and please go in Maria's room because Sam's room is next to mine and I don't want to listen to you two" Peter said while his dad hit is shoulder with an open mouth. "What I'm being serious" Peter said again, earning laughs from the whole team.

Shortly after most people had gone up to bed, only me, Steve, pepper and Tony were left down on the hammock. "Me and pepper are going to go to bed, you two alright?" Tony asked "ye, we're good. Good night tones" I said as he belt down and kissed my head. As pepper and Tony left Steve started speaking "do you want to come to mine and Sam's room? I have a feeling Sam and Maria might be in yours." He said with a chuckle.

"I don't know I might stay here, it peaceful watching the stars, and I'm really comfortable." I start to explain, Steve then cut me off "then I'll stay with you, let me just go get a sweatshirt and I'll be right back down". Steve quickly got up while I was still watching the stars, they make me feel safe, like I'm not alone.

Steve soon came back down with 2 sweatshirts and he threw one at me, I laughed and put it on. He lay back down next to me and pulled me closer to him. "Well I can safely say it's not only Maria and Sam who are having fun tonight, and it's much quieter out here then in the house, I just hope the kids don't hear it all" I sigh and let out a laugh. "Well then I'm glad I'm out here with you" I reply. He looks down at me as my head rests on his chest with my hand in his sweatshirt pocket. His one hand is on my waist with his other hand on my thigh that was draped across his legs.

"I like the stars, there's so many that when I'm out here I don't feel alone and with you next to me well this is the safest I've ever felt." I say. "Your never alone Natasha, I'll always be here, right next to you. And this might sound crazy but I like you Nat, I like you allot. Your so different to anyone I've ever met and I've never felt like this towards anyone, not even Peggy-" I quickly cut him off by giving him a loving and passionate kiss. I'm now basically lying on top of Steve with his hands on my back, I knew he was to respectful to put his hand on my ass so I moved it for him. He gave my ass a little squeeze and I let out a short moan.

He smiled at me as our foreheads touch, "I like you to Steve" I explained. "Remember when we borrowed a car during a mission and I asked you who do you want me to be? Well I'm going to ask you again" I say to him. "How about mine" he says and I replied by giving him another meaningful kiss. "I would be honoured mr Rogers".

"I have an idea though, let's not tell the team. Let's leave them to guess, it sounds kind of nice to sneak around with a secret boyfriend." I say while still laying on top of him. "Whatever makes my girl happy" he looks my in the eyes and kisses me deeply, his hands go under my sweatshirt to touch my bare back, I slid my tongue into his mouth receiving a moat back from Steve.

We lie like that for ages Just making out and cuddling close together. Eventually we both drift off to sleep while lying in each others embrace. That was the first nightmare free sleep I'd had in a long time and I knew it was because I had Steve with me the while time.

(Authors POV)

It was around 10am when most the avengers were in the mansion living room. Cooper looked around and asked "where's aunty Nat and Uncle Steve?" Everyone looked at each other, "they're not in our room and they're definitely not in Nat's room" he said with a cheeky smirk, Maria just slapped his arm. Jane came through the patio doors

"guys I think I found Steve and Nat" we all walked out to the hammock we were in last night, Steve and Natasha were cuddled up just like they were the previous morning on the sofa. Steve's hand was under Nat's sweatshirt and Natasha was still on top of Steve with her head rustled into Steve's neck. "I think there's only one way to wake them up" Bucky said slyly. "Oh I get you, kids would you like to do the honours" Clint asked the kids.

All the kids including Peter sidedly jumped on the hammock surly awakening the spy and the soldier, everyone erupted laughing even the two who had previously been asleep.

They shortly after gathered into the dining area where they all ate breakfast together. "So what are the plans today" Natasha asked. Tony then stood up while carrying Morgan, "I have bucked us the water park, it's private for us and we have the whole day. We leave in an hour so get ready" he says. All the kids suddenly jolt up and run to their rooms getting ready. All the adults peacefully get to their rooms for the first day in relaxing Bora Bora to begin.
