A Series Of Events: The Carters (continued)

1st Father's Day

These past few months hadn't been easy for them. Adjusting to parenthood never is. She wasn't feeling like herself she was tired and working way too hard for someone who pushed a baby out not too long ago. Their relationship was in a weird place they were having trouble communicating more than ever before they'd fight over the littlest things. She was distant because she wasn't feeling like herself but didn't know how to explain that to her husband. He was distant because, well why was he so distant?
Even with all that being said it takes nothing away from the father he was. Jay had his fears of fatherhood those fears came from the childhood trauma of his dad leaving when he was just nine. He was happy as hell when Beyoncé got pregnant but he couldn't shake the fear and doubt that came with the news of him becoming a father. But here he was his first Father's Day around five months after Blue was born. Fatherhood had been everything he expected and then some. He couldn't explain the love he had for his little girl. He thought Bey had him in love but this kind of love takes the cake. He'd do absolutely anything for his child. Play dolls, wear a tiara, have pretend tea even kill a little boy if he had to. Beyoncé could tell they would have a strong bond because of how hands on he was with her from day one. She always knew he had the potential to be a great father. Today they were going to celebrate that.

"Good morning daddy" his wife smiled with their daughter in one hand and a plate of his favorite breakfast foods in another. She was wearing a "I heart daddy" t shirt that barely covered her curvy body while their daughter had on a matching onesie.
"Wow thank you good morning" he took the plate from her. "You didn't have that on last night" he said.
"Duh I don't ever have anything on at night" she said playfully.
"You know what I mean" he chuckled.
"Do you like it" she gave him a little spin knowing the shirt would lift and give him a peek of her ass.
"Oh yeah I love it" he licked his lips appreciating the spin.
"Good, it's your first Father's Day so I had to get you the typical dad gift" she handed him a Gucci tie gift box.

"Damn that's nice" he said. "Got the bee on it too tryna make sure I think of you when I wear it?" He teased.
"You better" she warned.
"My first Father's Day tie, I might cry" he joked.
They sat together in bed as a family Bey entertained Blue while Jay ate his breakfast.
Shortly after he was done he looked at his phone.
"I got some phone calls I gotta make, I won't be long" he promised. She knew that meant he'd be in his office for a little. She had one last surprise for him but it could wait.
"Come on Blue let's go make some business moves" he said taking her from her mother and heading to his office.
Beyoncé was a little offended he just took Blue out her arms like that but it's Father's Day so she'd let him slide.
Jay made his calls and Blue cooed in the background.

"Aight I thought I'd never get off that last call that guy always talks
My head off" Jay complained after he found his wife in the living room.
"Finished?" She asked.
"Yup I'm taking the rest of the day off."
"Ok get dressed you have one last gift" she told him.
"You gonna change out your shirt?" He asked disappointed.
"Boy you know I'm not going out in public with this on" she laughed.
"Aww" he pouted.
"I'll put it back on when we get back" she rolled her eyes.
He was happy with that compromise he went to go shower and change.

Jay learned not to even try to guess when it came to surprises from Bey. Anytime she surprised him it was beyond anything he could even think of. So when they left the house, he just enjoyed the ride. Admittedly he was confused when they ended up at a jetway.
"We taking a vacation? I mean I wasn't prepared but I'm not mad" Jay said thinking he had it all figured out.
"Not quite" she said.
Now he was confused.
"Your surprise is right there" she said pointing at the airplane.

"Yo! No way Bey a plane?!" He said excitedly.
She smiled and nodded.
"A fucking plane?!" He got out the car to look at his gift. After examining the inside and outside he was throughly impressed. The plane had state of the art everything of course.
"Damn Bey" he couldn't even really find the words.
"Only the best for my baby daddy" she said.
"Now stand in front of the plane so I can take some pictures" she told him. Jay had his own little photoshoot for a change, he was usually the one taking her pictures.

"So how'd you like your first Father's Day?" She asked they were in bed and she was back in her "I heart daddy" shirt just as she'd promised.
"It was the best, thank you."
"I can't wait until next year Blue will be talking it'll be so much better" Beyoncé said.
"Yeah I can't wait for the homemade cards and noodle art I want allat" Jay agreed.
"My favorite part about today besides the plane of course was the t shirt" he smiled slyly.
"I knew you'd like it" she smirked.
"Yeah lemme take it off now" he said slowly lifting her shirt.
She giggled "Okay if that's how you wanna end your Father's Day."
"Hell yeah so by next Father's Day I can have another kid to celebrate with."
"Woah woah I don't know about that" she laughed.
"Shit I do!"
