"I'd be leaving for Persia, I won't be back for another two months. Maybe more." Visenya informed her husband, as the two shared a table of breakfast, like no more than estranged acquaintances.
"What you do outside my roof, or even outside my lane, is none of my concern. I'll leave you to it Stark." William answered, looking up from his coffee. "Won't it be better if i just never came back?" She muttered to herself, but William heard her clear as day. Visenya was about to leave immediately, when she realized a flaw in his sentence.
"So when i'm in your lane, it's your concern?"
William chokes on his drink, but managed to calm it down slightly. The husband and wife pair live in the same, elegant household, yet they've never interacted properly with one another, let alone share affections, in which they have none.
But Visenya, as ruthless and unforgiving as she might seem to the world, was always aware of the things she is required to at times.
"However horrid you're still my wife. I want you to be safe." He said, tone softer than ever before heard in Visenya's ears. It even surprises him why her well being suddenly concerns him. Visenya is one of the best fighters in the world, more than capable of defending herself, and yet he was the one feeling... worried?
The crimson haired woman laughed.
"In your head you say, "Mayhaps the whore will die in battle". I don't blame you, Spears. I'd leave me too if i could."
