Chapter 11

Jacey's P.O.V 

I was woken up at 9 on the day of my birthday. "princess we're going out to breakfast for your birthday" James says. I nod and get out of bed heading to my bathroom. I took a shower and put on shorts and a crop top. I dutched braided my hair and put on my shoes. I head downstairs to see the boys waiting on me. "there's the birthday girl" Brad says. I smile softly at them and we all head to the car. They all said happy birthday to me and I thanked them. The day has barely even started and it's already the best birthday yet. 

Once we all got to the diner and got seated. We ordered our drinks and the boy started goofing off. They are the funniest group of boys you will ever meet in your life. I love being around them the turn the awkward situations into the funniest situations ever. Luckily we're the only people in the diner. This would've been too embarrassing if people were here. We're here so much to he point where they are used to us acting like this. 

It gets to points where they have to ask us to calm down. We always do what they ask cause we all love to eat here. It's like a second home to us we're here 4 times a week cause we are too lazy to make food ourselves. I feel like this birthday is gonna be the best one yet in 10 years. I actually have a family to spend time with this year. 

I love being apart of something important. I've never been so happy in my life in years. I didn't realize I was crying until one of the boys started talking. "you ok jace?" Brad asks. I nod softly "just happy that I have a family to spend time with on my birthday this year" I say softly. Connor wraps his arm around me. "we're just glad we have you now. Now you have a family to spend time with" Connor says. 

I smile at the boys and lay my head on his shoulder. "thank you guys for taking me in" i say softly. "anytime princess" James says. I smile at them and we order our food. We were talking about what store we are going to when we get to the mall. Once we get our food we started eating. Once we finished the boys paid and we left to head to the mall to go shopping. 

Connor's P.O.V 

Just from eating breakfast this morning I could tell jacey was happy. I could tell she felt accepted in this family. I truly do love this girl and I wanna let her know how much I love her. I just don't know how to tell her I need the boy's help. The boy's always help me with this stuff especially Brad. He's the biggest flirt of the whole group but these past few months I have been acting like that. But it's all because of Brad he's helping with this.

B:take her somewhere special and tell her but make sure it's the right timing

C:thanks you're a lifesaver 

 B:anytime

C:seriously I couldn't do this without you brad

B:now stop texting me 

*End of conversation*

I look over at Brad and then at Jacey smiling softly. God this girl is perfect who cannot like this girl. Her hair is perfect i love how she always have braids in her hair. I love her style and Brad even says that she's like the girl version of me. I can see where he is coming from we both wear the same colors.
