"Coming." Yoshikage said loudly as he took out the steak from the oven, putting his mittens away. The clock read eight pm sharp. He poured the hot tea in two traditional cups before heading to the door.
Just before opening the door, then checked himself in the mirror on the hallway to make sure his hair and clothes were perfect. He wore slim dress pants in navy and a white shirt along with a blue tie with geometric patterns. He smiled at his reflection before opening the door.
First, he was welcomed by the sweet smell of Diavolo's fragrance, then by the warm smile on his black, alluring lips. It took Yoshikage a moment to realise that the Italian had brought with him wine and something else in a little plastic box.
"Good evening, Kira." His voice silky, tender. Yoshikage looked up at him, noticing that the man wore a completely different makeup look now. His eyelids burgundy, darkening at the outer corners and finished with a sharp black eyeliner. He was outstandingly beautiful, the golden-red touch definitely made his green eyes stand out more.
"Good evening, mister Un- ah, I mean, Diavolo. Do come in." He smiled as he stepped aside, letting Diavolo inside his home.
"How have you been since earlier today? These are for us." Diavolo handed him the bottle of wine and the box so he could take off his shoes. Glossy red Oxford shoes to go along with his deep red dress shirt, the rest of his suit was black.
"Good. You didn't have to bring anything." Yoshikage chuckled as he inspected the bottle, not understanding much since most of the writing was in Italian. Devil's Crypt. He never heard of this brand before, but judging by how beautiful the design gold on it was, it must've costed a little fortune.
"I couldn't just come empty handed!" Diavolo smiled after neatly leaving his shoes by Kira's, along with his bag. "Did you already order food? It smells great."
"Actually, I cooked dinner myself. I do enjoy the process, it's quite rewarding." Kira smirked as Diavolo gave him his coat to put it on a hanger. It was only then when he realised that the man was wearing fingerless gloves. Kira frowned for a brief moment when his guest wasn't looking. An unexpected choice of fashion, that's for sure. Kira had to get rid of those soon.
"Really? I, on the other hand, keep burning myself when cooking. Or well, attempting to cook. Then my daughter mocks me and she's the one to finish whatever I started making." Diavolo said bashfully as he rolled his sleeves up, revealing his big forearms laced with black tattoos.
"You have a daughter? How old is she?" Kira smiled as he lead the taller man into his home, heading for the kitchen.
"She's seventeen now. She's the light of my eyes. I don't know what I'd do without her." Diavolo said as they stepped into the kitchen, smiling proudly.
Another frown crossed Yoshikage's features. If this daughter of his is so close to him, then it means that she knows he's here now. How troublesome.
"Would you like a cup of tea before we eat dinner? I just took it out of the oven so it's burning hot. Take a seat." Yoshikage explained as he walked to the counter, looking over the two cups as he put down the wine and box.
"I'd love to. One sugar please." He sat down at the table, looking around the spacious kitchen. Everything looked shiny as new, as if it was never used before.
Yoshikage nodded as he dropped a cube of sugar into the cup on his right. With a spoon, he stirred the warm drink laced with sleeping pills. Six sleeping pills was enough to knock anyone out. The blond couldn't help but smirk with content. Humans are such easy prey.
