I booked a 2 day- stay at some hotel in Caloocan. She said the client is staying at BGC but working in Caloocan so I picked the most convenient.

We decided to meet up in a restaurant like the usual. I opened my laptop to review some designs that I did beforehand. I also checked some emails na hindi ko pa nababasa.

Napaangat ako ng tingin nang may pumasok. It was her. Medyo magulo pa ang buhok at naka formal dress and coat. Nagmadali siya sa paglalakad ng mamataan ako.

"Hi Alondra! I'm very sorry I'm late. May hearing kasi ako, ngayon lang natapos." Naupo siya agad at inayos ang buhok.

"It's okay." I gave an assuring smile. "Where's the client anyway? Mag isa ka yata." Tinignan ko pa ang pinto at baka nahuli lang pero wala.

"Uh... He won't make it for today. Marami kasi siyang ginagawa. You know he's a busy person. But don't worry, he'll be with us tomorrow." She smiled.

I nodded. "Anyways, did you have the blueprint I asked?"

"Oh! Yes." She then handed me the tube.

Binuksan ko at tinignan ito sandali.

"This is huge..." manghang sabi ko.

Much bigger than our mansion in Laguna. Sa pagkakaguhit pa lang ay marami nang pasikot sikot. It has three storeys that has an elevator. The first floor has a wide living area, kitchen, dining area, shower room and maid's quarter. The second floor has ten rooms including the master's bedroom and four guest rooms. It has also a library and a living area while the third floor has a gym, a wide pool and a mini bar!

"Yes." She chuckled.

Hindi pa ako nakakapag design ng ganitong kalaking bahay. Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako na ako ang napili nila o mahihiya na baka madismaya ko ang may ari. It's just too overwhelming.

"Where is this mansion located at? You mentioned it was in Quezon?" Nirolyo ko ang blueprint at ibinalik sa lalagyan.

"Yes. Actually it was located in a secluded area in Candelaria. More on mountains na ang makikita ro'n. He's a nature lover so." She shrugged and chuckled.

Oh...

Maybe I can do that also? When I get tired of working?

"So are we meeting him tomorrow? Babalik na rin kasi ako kinagibahan bukas. I want to do it fast and precise just like what the client wants."

"Oh yeah of course! He said he'll free his sched for tomorrow to meet you and visit the mansion as well. Hindi na nga niya na aasiakaso 'yun e." Tumawa siya.

I paused a bit. The way she laugh and blush, I know there is something.

Magtatanong sana ako pero baka ma offend siya at isipin pa niyang nakikialam ako kaya huwag na lang. She seems very friendly though. I remembered a more mature Kadence from her. But as a professional, I want to maintain a distance between us. I'm not here to make friends anyway.

Her phone rang again and answered immediately. She excused herself and stood up. She seeems really busy today. I wonder what she does.

Inayos ko na ang mga gamit habang may kausap siya. Nang makaupo siya ulit ay binalingan ko na siya.

"So... uhm... since I got a glimpse of the blueprint now, somehow I've got an idea how huge it is. Maybe we can continue discussing this tomorrow with the client?" I suggested.

"Oh! Okay." She tucked her hair on her ear. "I'll just call you anytime then."

"Thank you so much, Ms. Alejos!" I stood up and offered a hand.
