The Entrance Exam

[Name] stares up at U.A., a smile on her features as she's ready to take the entrance exam. She could feel her tail wagging excitedly and she picks up her pace, walking towards the building just like the many other students. Before she had even left home, her father had cheered her on and even said that if she passes, he'll cook his fantastic duck dinner just for her. [Name] must pass for that meal.

"For all you examinee listeners tuning in, welcome to my show today! Everybody say hey!" Present Mic shouted, silence filling the room. "What a refined response. Then I'll quickly present to you the rundown on the practical exam! Are you ready? Yeah!" Silence.

[Name]'s ears picked up someone's voice, her right ear turning. "It's the Voice Hero, Present Mic! Wow..!" She looks towards the source to see a boy with green, curly hair. "I listen to him every week on the radio. I'm so moved! All the teachers at U.A. are pro heroes!"

"Shut up."

"As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this!" Present Mic exclaimed, the screen behind him changing. "You can bring whatever you want with you. After the presentation, you will head to the specified battle center, okay?" Silence fills the room and [Name] looks at her card. "Okay?!"

She'll be in Battle Center A.

"Three different types of faux villains are stationed in each battle center," Present Mic continued. "You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty. Your goal, dear listeners, is to use your Quirks to earn points by immobilizing the faux villains. Of course, attacking other examinees and any other unheroic actions are prohibited!"

"May I ask a question?"

"Okay!"

A light shines down a boy with a tan uniform and glasses, dark blue hair. [Name] couldn't take her eyes off the boy's eyebrows. She isn't one to judge appearance since her physical appearance is different than most people, but his eyebrows are standing out.

"On the printout, there are four types of villains," the boy stated, pointing at the paper. "If that is a misprint, then U.A., the most prominent school in Japan, should be ashamed of that foolish mistake. We examinees are here in this place because we wish to be molded into exemplary heroes. In addition, you over there with the curly hair--" The boy pointed at the green haired boy. "You've been muttering this whole time. It's distracting! If you're here on a pleasure trip, then you should leave immediately!"

"I'm sorry..."

People around started laughing, Present Mic speaking up. "Okay, okay, Examinee Number 7111. Thanks for the great message. The fourth type of villain is worth zero points. That guy's an obstacle, so to speak. There's one in every battle center-- An obstacle that will go crazy in narrow spaces. It's not impossible to defeat, but there's no reason to defeat it, either. I recommend that you listeners try to avoid it."

"Thank you very much!" The boy shouted, bowing his head. "Please excuse the interruption!"

"I see... It's like the obstacles you avoid in video games, huh?"

"The whole thing is like a video game."

"That's all from me!" Present Mic announced. "Finally, I'll give you listeners a present-- our school motto! The hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said: "A true hero is someone who overcomes life's misfortunes." Go beyond... Plus Ultra!" The words appeared on the screen behind Present Mic. "Now, everyone, good luck suffering!"

[Name] stood in front of the gates to Battle Center A, her hands on her hips. She wore a simple, short sleeve white shirt and black shorts. Once she gets a scent on the faux villains, she should be able to track them down easily. She could do this as her human form or even her wolf form, but there's only 10 minutes. If she wants to get enough points, she should use her wolf form. If she's able to get 2 and 3 point faux villains, she should be able to get a high enough score.
