Kaleb toyed around with the container in his hand spinning it perfectly as he sat on a stool looking at the two of them and said "Now let's get this straight, my mother has taken a hold of my big brother and a girl that I am quite fond of that goes by the name of Davina?" Hayley rolled her eyes at his nonsense of a question and simply said "Yes, but if you hand over the box, we can save them." Finn looked at his brother, "Don't listen to that demon, he deserves it!" with a raspy voice. Finn lifted one of his knees after the other and rose to his feet "Now hand me the box." Kaleb laughed and said "Come and get it brother, before throwing him to the window walking away slowly. Hayley vamp swooshed in front of him and said "The box, now." Kaleb looking at her and said "here take it, you can break the fake circle while I go find the real one." She looked at him before opening the box and rubbing her fingers through it realizing it was not salt, but sugar. Hayley ran after him and said "Where do you think you're going?" Kaleb stopped and said "To find the circle of salt." he added emphasis to the word salt as he kept his eyes locked with hers. "Not without me." She said breaking it beginning to walk quickly.
Meanwhile Elijah and Davina sat in the circle sweating after taking off their top layer of closes, Davina sat there with her tank top and shorts closing her eyes slowly. Elijah shook her arm saying "You must stay awake, because of the heat, you could not wake." Davina opened them slowly looking at him "I can't, not much longer, they need to find the circle." Ester stood above them hovering "They will never find it." she said softly. Elijah stood up using all the strength he had left throwing her to the outskirts of the circle. Her body hit the force bouncing off hitting the ground with a boisterous thump. Elijah walked over to her body and said "Where is the circle?" With clenched teeth holding her wrist tightly. She looked at him and began to break the bones in his fingers making him release "How dare you grab me like that, I am your mother Elijah." He looked at her as he sat on his knees "The circle, I will not ask again." Davina stood up weakly and said "Elijah, if you kill her the circle will break," He turned his head to look at her "She'll body jump and come after us again and we won't know what she looks like, your life is in the hands of my brother." He said looking down and then back at her, he watched her sink back the ground saying "I don't like those odds----" she began to cough loudly several times "very much." Davina rolled over placing her face to the ground closing her eyes with a deep pit in her stomach.
Marcel and Klaus raced around the city in attempt to find the circle, but bringing was found. They continued to search inside the city instead of on the outskirts where the real circle of salt lay. The circle went around the entire city. Marcel flipped a table in the quarter and said loudly "We aren't going to find this damn circle!" He said looking at Klaus "Davina's temperature is rising, she could die." Klaus looked at him and said "We will find it Marcellus." Before vamp swooshing to the top of a building to get a better look. "Come up here Marcellus." Marcel placed his hands on his hips looking up at him before accompanying Klaus on the roof, "what?" He said pissed off "Look around you," Klaus says looking at him before jumping to another building watching Marcel follow. They continued to jump building until they reached the tallest.
Klaus looked at him and pointed out towards the white line "Do you see that line?" Marcel looked out saying "Yeah what about it, it's the boundary of the city." Klaus laughed a little "We don't have a boundary line, now go get Diego and the others, and save Davina, I'll meet you there with Hayley." Klaus looked at Marcel one last time before vamp swooshing away dialing Hayley "Where are you?" He said as he heard her pick up "I'm with Kaleb by the graveyard." Klaus clenched his teeth at the sound of his name looking up at the sky "Stay there." He said hanging up vamp swooshing to them looking at Hayley "We need to leave now," Hayley looked at him saying "Where are we going?" Klaus stopped walking turning around "To the outskirts of the city, where the circle lays." He said walking faster.
Marcel stood there waiting for Klaus with Diego and some of the other vampires with daylight rings waiting on Klaus. Diego spoke up and said "Why do you need all of us for a stupid circle?" Marcel looked at him and said "anything could happen." Klaus and Hayley arrived looking at Diego as Klaus spoke up "Also because I said so." Hayley looked at the circle and vamp swooshed towards it bending down ready to mess it up but couldn't, they needed the blood of a witch. Kaleb walked up behind her and said "This is why you need me, more importantly my blood," he says looking at them. Marcel walked up behind him and said "You can do either give it to us or we will take it with force." Kaleb took a step forward "No need for that, I'd be glad to save Davina, but I want something out of this." Hayley stood up crossing her arms and saying "And that is?" He smiled like a fool saying "A chance with Davina Claire, without Marcel intruding." Marcel frowned and said nothing.
