⤬ Although he is genuinely surprised by the sudden turn of events once its announced everyone was to kill each other in order to get off this island, Koishi isn't as effected negatively like the others.
⤬ After the first trail with Nagito's nonsensical rambling about hope, he immediately takes a liking to him. Koishi ends up talking to Nagito again himself, and they grow an immediate understanding connection.
