A FEW HOURS LATER MEI DECIDES TO GET OUT OF HER SLUMP AND GO FIND IRA.
"IRA!" She calls, "Ira!" She looks everywhere for him until eventually, she finds him in her hammock where she used to sit with her dad. Maybe now was a good time to start explaining.
"Hey Ira," she says as she sits down next to him. "I'm ready to explain now."
Ira doesn't move, but she knows he's listening.
"My parents are dead. My brother is very overprotective of me. And he most DEFINITELY wouldn't let me hang out with a guy, and especially with your relations. But of course, Ira, you always have to be difficult, don't you?" Mei says as she chuckles a bit, and takes in a big breath. "Your sister killed my parents..."
Ira gasps.
"Yes, yes I know."
"And I really wanna be with you, but my brother's really annoying, and my life is falling apart, so if you co-"
Ira pulled Mei in for a sweet kiss. Mei pulled back seeing someone behind Ira.
"I-Ira, behind you!" Mei exclaims suddenly.
Ira slowly looks behind him. And jumps a little bit, when to his surprise he finds Mei's brother with a CRAZY look in his eyes.
"Ira," he says staring him dead in the eyes, "you look just like your sister in this light, but YOUR KIND AREN'T welcome here."
"Of course, I'll be leaving immediately."
"Good." Sam's crazy eyes shone in the moonlight.
Mei begins to run after him, but Sam stops her. Mei begins to cry.
"Why would you do this, Sam? You're the WORST!"
Mei runs into the house, leaving Sam in the moonlight to contemplate his actions. Was this the right thing to do? Yes! Of course, it was! I have to protect my sister from that family's evil! I've already dealt with them before! I need to protect my sister at ANY COST.
