Change of Plans

“The heck jia! Kanina pa ako katok ng katok dito sa labas ng office mo di ka man lang magsalita if I can come inside!”

“I told you, that you don’t need to knock on that door, you can enter in my office anytime you want.” Kalmadong sagot ni jia pero salubong ang dalawa nyang kilay.

“Damn jia you’re my boss! Kaya kailangan ko ring irespect ang privacy mo.”

“Yeah, you’re right im your boss, then tawagin mo akong boss if that so.”

“Okay boss” as the tall white girl sat in the swivel chair in front of the table of what she called “boss”.

“what’s with the face” then she pause for a while and continue “boss?”.

“I think magkakasakit ako bukas.” Jia giving the girl a sick face pero napailing naman ang isa.

“oh no. not again. Alam ko jia isa nanaman ito sa mga reasons mo. But not this time, not.this.time.” As she move her head from right to left. The “boss” just give the tall girl a sweet smile.

“You can move the date naman eh. Wag lang bukas. “CHANGE OF PLANS”, you know?”as she give emphasis on the phrase Change of plans.

“No, no, no. No change of plans and no backing out! For god damn Change of plans na yan! Ilang beses mo na ako nabiktima nyan! For the fifth time jia! For the fifth time and today! I will not allow that fucking Change of Plans!”

“But…” the boss was cut because the girl continue her argument.

“You said your dad is sick, then later your sister, then your brother, then your mother tapos ngayon ikaw naman?! Ginagawa mo namang sakitin ang family mo jia! Tapos next ano naman irarason mo? That your dog is sick?!” bea then inhale and exhale all of her anger. Habang si jia naman ay napapasmile na lang sa inasta ni bea.

“that’s all?! After I scolded you, yan lang? yan lang ang sagot mo?your god damn smile?!” iritang sagot ni bea.

“You’re so cute.” Out of nowhere na sabi ni jia. Bigla nya rin namang napagtanto yung nasabi nya kaya agad nya itong binawi.

“Ah I mean, ano dapat cute. Oo tama, dapat cute yung makakadate ko bukas.” Pagpapalusot ni jia.

Inilapag naman ni bea yung kanina nya pang hawak na folder sa harap ni jia.

“Lahat ng information about your date andyan na. Pati yung information ng lalakeng makakadate mo andyan na rin.”

Jia just scan the information inside the folder “Hmm. Alam talaga ni bea mamili.” Sabi nya sa isip isip nya.

“Mr.John Velasquez 24 yr old he manage his family business company and he even own a coffee shop along Makati” sabi ni bea habang si jia patuloy lang sa pagscan.

“6’3 tall enough para sayo, yun naman ang gusto mo di ba? Then He has this white skin and don’t worry he has a good smile. And mas bata sayo ng 1 year“ pagpapatuloy ni bea as she describe the “DATE” of her boss.

“Pwede na rin, kaso I think he’s too handsome for me.” Sabi ni jia as she close the folder.

“All the qualities of a guy na gusto mo andyan na. Anu pa bang hahanapin mo? Sinunod ko naman mga sinabi mo sakin. Then you’re saying na he’s too handsome for you! Ewan ko sayo jia, bahala ka sa ayaw at sa gusto mo pupunta tayo ng boracay tomorrow! You will going to have your date for three days so better prepare yourself, mag-ayos ka para naman magustuhan ka nya! Mauna na ako magkita na lang tayo bukas sa airport.”  bea walks towards the door and shut it down.
