[i am very sorry about the time skip that's about to come , its just that if i didn't , this story would be unbelievably long and would have taken y'all forever to read... so... yeah :)]

only a smol time skip ;|

Its been a whole 2 months since they had first come to the holiday house. a couple of months full of stupidity and chaos. you know how it would have been. they were originally only supposed to stay there for a week- but they loved it and ended up staying for much longer. 

chan had been a little quieter than he was previously, but it seems like he is slowly coming back to his senses, and getting over his crush. the other boys admired him for his honesty and maturity of the rejection- because honestly, if he hadn't been so mature about it, it would have been really awkward for all 8 of them.

"i don't wanna go to schooooolllll" jeongin whined

" jeongin- honey- none of us do" chan said, picking up his bags and going out the door.

and with that, all the boys headed home. the cars this time were much more lively, because i guess that's what spending two months of living together does to the friendship.

chan dropped off all the kids at his house [no not chan's kitchen, or hair salon, although i would go to both cuz you know ;)]

"muuuuuuummmm we're hereeee!" chan screamed through the huge house.

"ok darling i'm coming!"

chan's mother came running through the kitchen door, gushing over the 9 handsome 16 year-old-boys in front of her. saying the usual- you know... 'how did you get so tall?', 'aww you were this tall when i last saw you' 

"ok ok mum we get it" chan said pulling both her and a whining hyunjin back into the kitchen

"chan hyung please don't do this" he whined

"hyunjin i'm doing this for you"

chan's mother was standing in between them... really confused

"ok just tell me what's going on"

"so basically-"

"chan no"

"hyunjin's parents died"

"WHAT!" she screeched before lowering her voice talking to the boy who was looking at his feet, "ok- hold on. are you ok? when did this happen?  you need to stay here with us? i'll be your parent figure if ou need it.. just tell me if you ne-"

"mum. you're overwhelming him. calm down"

"august 18th 2018" hyunjin muttered, still not looking up

"what? hyunjin this was ages ago... how have you survived? no longer you looked skinnier" she started to wander around hands on her head, sighing occasionally

"mum- calm down... we need to jus-"

"calm down? your friend that i treat like a son, has no parents- and you're telling me to calm down? you know they were my friends as well" she deeply inhaled before continuing "ok lets start this over- hyunjin have you told anyone?"

the tall boy shook his head no

"ok- that's ok, so what we are going to do, is that you are going to go with chan to your place to get everything you need, and then your gonna come back and live with us. you can use the guest room and-" she stopped, before gasping, "i've just had an idea!"

"here we go again" chan muttered rolling his eyes

"i can adopt you!" she exclaimed

both hyunjin's and chan's eyes went wide, looking at each other as if to say 'what the fuck'

"umm- i don't know.. i mean- i wouldn't mind but i don't know if chan would wa-"

"i'd love to have you as my brother" he said smiling at the younger.
