Chapter Four - "The Recording Session, And A Confession"

That Monday...

(Y/N)'s POV, Copper Samurai Talent Agency

The time seemed to fly right by. Now, it's time for the first part of filming for the Copper Samurai.

It's going to be a somewhat lengthy movie, so they're probably going to give us the schedule for later filming days.
And where's Eve-chan at? We're going to start soon.

"Oh, (Y/N)," the director said to me. "Since the last time you came, we got another member of our staff!"

I clapped my hands together in excitement. "This is a surprise. But hold on, Mr. Director. Eve-chan isn't here yet."

"Right," he replied. "She'd better come quickly, or else I'll dock her pay!"

Money is the least of Eve-chan's problems, it's the time she's taking to get here!

Suddenly, Eve burst right in, breathing heavily.
"I'm here! Sorry! My bushido training took a little longer than expected!"

"Bushido training?" I asked. "What's that?"

"It's when you sit under a waterfall, crashing down, then beat people up with my trusty wooden katana!"

"B-beat people up?" the director shouted. "Eve-chan?! And since when did we have a waterfall nearby?!"

"It's no problem! I apologize afterward!" Eve-chan laughed as if what she had just wasn't weird. "Also, there's a waterfall at Asuka Gardens, which explains why it took me a while to get here."

"Ahem, late welcome, Wakamiya-san," the director spoke up. "We've got a new staff member now."

Right then, a short girl walked in the room, as if on cue.
"Hello, everyone!" she loudly said. "I am your new co-director, Chiyu Tamade! Or... CHU²!"

"Eep! CHU²!" Eve-chan said. "Member of the super-huge band, RAISE A SUILEN!"

"Raise a ceiling?" I asked. "Suilen? And what about our regular director?!"

"No time for questions!" CHU² said to me. "Now, c'mon, c'mon! Let's start filming! Go get changed, everyone!"

She's sorta loud, and really short. She's got an air of confidence and true leadership about her. Oh, and she's pretty cute as well.

Later, Eve's POV

I changed into my Copper Samurai outfit.
It's quite odd for a character who's supposed to be from the Edo period of Japan.

The outfit had plating, like regular samurai, but instead of wearing pants, I have a short skirt that's plated, but shows a lot of my legs. It's kinda impractical... but this is fiction, I guess.

I also have my trusty Muramasa sword, apparently passed down by the Copper Samurai's family for some 300 years, made by a mysterious swordsmith.

At least I have the signature mask that all samurai wore. I can just feel the raw power of bushido flowing through me!

Standing opposite of me is (Y/N), or should I say, Baku, the leader of the Evil Shogunate, my biggest enemy!

"...And start!" CHU² said, signaling us to begin.

"Hah! Defending the will of the people of Edo Tokyo! It is I, the Copper Samurai!"
I struck an intimidating pose with my sword.

"Not so fast, girly! The Evil Shogunate will end your lawless adventures through our peaceful streets!"

The Evil Shogunate... and Baku.
I've heard of him through legends, but why is he after me?

"Women cannot be samurai!" Baku shouted. "The Code of Laws forbids it!"
