Chapter Eight - "A N-ice Date"

Eve’s POV

I called Hanne on my phone. The SnowCastle will be our meeting place. I have no clue what she wants. With Hanne, the sky’s the limit.

“Hello?” Hanne said from the other line. “Oh, it’s Eve!”

“Hanne-san?” I said. “You never told us where we were meeting!”

Hanne laughed. “Oh! My apologies! I was so excited that I forgot. You’re at the SnowCastle, right?”

“Um… yeah. How’d you know?” I asked her.

“I’m already here!” she replied to me back.

I looked around. What? That’s quite odd. I then noticed her walking towards us with the black-suited people beside her.

“Let me guess…” I said. “The black suits figured out where Hanne was, somehow, and brought her here upon request.”

“Yeah,” one of the suits responded. “Perfect work as usual. We hope we did a satisfactory job.”

“Maybe too good of a job…” I joked.
These people must be psychics!

“Hi everyone!” Hanne greeted everyone with a smile. “I am Hanne, Eve’s best friend from the great land of Finland!”

“Hey Hanne!” (Y/N) said cheerfully. “I’m (Y/N), Eve’s boyfriend!”

I blushed a bit. He just said it so easily!

“And I’m Kokoro! Finland is awesome!” Tsurumaki-san also told her. “But it’s pretty cold.”

“Ahh yes, cold, cold,” Hanne said. “Not for me! Anyway, I came just to tell you something.”
Hanne pointed to (Y/N) and whispered something in his ear. She giggled and walked back a bit.

(Y/N) seemed surprised when he heard it, but other than that, didn’t react except for nodding his head. What is he up to…?

“Well that’s all I came for! I must head back to my house,” Hanne said, with a wink. “Eve, Kokoro, I’ll see you two some other time!”

Still full of energy, she walked off with the black suits. But one of the suits walked back, and spoke something to Tsurumaki-san.

“Eve!” she called out to me. “I’m heading with Hanne and the suits! We’ll meet later!”
She waved and started walking with Hanne.

Really? That’s all she came for? That was sort of… anticlimactic. But now it’s just (Y/N) and I, in front of the SnowCastle.

“Well, (Y/N),” I said. “It’s just us now. I want to take you to see the inside of the castle. It’s pretty huge, so we’ll be there until night drops! What do you say?”

I eagerly held out my hand toward him, awaiting his confirmation.

With a smile, (Y/N) grabbed it. “Sure thing, Eve. Let’s both have a great time.”

Hand in hand, we walked inside the SnowCastle. Where do we start?

Inside The SnowCastle…

(Y/N)’s POV

This place looks way cooler inside!
No pun intended, but mostly everything is made out of snow! I’m glad the roof doesn’t cave in or anything. I hope, at least.
If Eve got trapped in the snow, it’d be hard to find her because her hair is as white as snow anyway!

“Look!” Eve said, directing my attention to a restaurant area. “Food!”

“There’s a r-restaurant?!” I was shocked to see. “What food could they possibly make inside a snow castle?”
