Adrien

To say I was nervous would be incorrect. I was beyond excited, I could barely sleep. It was 5:59 in the morning and I was already prepared. My hair neatly done, my clothes on, teeth brushed, and bag with all his necessary needs for school.

I sat patiently, ready for Natalie to knock on the door, to tell me to prepare for school. Almost on cue, Natalie knocked on the door. "Adrien, you have 15 minutes to prepare for school. You have 10 to get dressed and 5 to eat breakfast" she said. I listened as her heels clicked on the floor, the clicks getting quieter as she descended down the hall and down the stairs.

I had much time on my hands sense I've already gotten prepared for school. I wasn't sure on how to spend my next 10 minutes. 10 minutes wasn't much, but when you're this excited, time seems to become slower than usual. I decided to walk over to my manga shelf. Yes, I have a huge fascination in manga and anime. It was cool to see so many different characters go through amazing adventures, friendships, and love. It feels so refreshing to see a character grow from not knowing who he was or not being taken seriously to being known into the world for things they've done and accomplished. I wish I could do things like that. Sadly, my life is very restricted by his father. My father never let's me socialize unless they were like us. Rich. That was all they have to be, and to be honest, usually they weren't the most interesting or had the goodest of heart. I sighed thinking of my misfortune. How my life turned upside down so quickly, my father is still mourning after a year and he's just getting worse. Effecting me in the worst ways without even batting an eye...

I shook my head. "I don't need these thoughts today..." I told myself while I scanned the shelves for a manga.

Marinette

I felt I small two on my cheek. "mmm, not now mom.." I said, as I turned my head. "Wake up, Marinette" a small voice said. My eyes shot up at the voice. It was Tikki. I gave her a small smile, "Good morning, Tikki" I said as I stretch my limbs. "Good morning" she answered gently. Again, I smiled at her. Her soft voice was such a heart melt.

I climbed down my loft and headed down to my bathroom, Tikki following close behind. I opened the door and went straight to the shower knob and turned it. I decided to brush my teeth to give the water some time to warm up.

"Marinette, do you have an answer yet?" Tikki asked.

I furrowed my brows and looked down. It had been a few days since she's asked me that and I'm still unsure. Me, a superhero? An ancient superhero given God-like powers? No, I clumsy, I would surely destroy Paris.

I let out a frustrated groan. I saw Tikki shift a little.from the corner of my eye. I immediately felt guilt. "I'm not annoyed with you. It's a tempting deal, I'm just unsure, y'know?"

She nodded. I was grateful she didn't push. She was patient and understanding. After I finished brushing my teeth, I undressed and went inside the shower.

I dressed In a pink sweater and wore black leggings. I put on light brown uggs and put my hair in my usual pigtails. My mom suggested I try different styles this year. I agreed to be more open to different hairstyles, but today, I'll go for my usual. I grabbed backpack and side purse. I had everything packed and ready, I just needed to say hello and goodbye to my parents.

"Goodbye, Tikki!" I whispered yelled as I began to go down my ladder. "Wait!" Tikki called. I stopped and looked up at her. "Yes?" I asked. "Please take me with you! Just to be safe..." she said. I sighed and smiled at her. "Stay in here"

I opened my small side purse. She quickly swooped in. Before I had closed it, she had asked for me to bring a sweet for her. I agreed and headed down stairs.

"Goodnight mama, papa!" I called happily. My parents came on cue from the back of the bakery. My papa was covered in dough as usual and my maman had small amounts of dough in hair and cloths.

"Goodmorning, bluebell! Your breakfast is on the table nearest to the exit." Papa said. I hummed in response. "Give us hugs and kisses" my mother said. I came up to them and gave the big hugs and small kisses on the cheek. Right after they headed straight for kitchen to continue their baking.
