Marinette and I were walking to our classroom. She looked forward, knowing her way, and a small smile was on her face. As rude as it was, I couldn't help but stare at her. She had the blackest hair I've ever seen. She had small, hardly there freckles on her face that you'd only notice if you were close enough. She had beautiful blue eyes...blue as the sea...They compliment her fair skin and midnight hair. She was small too. I would guess about 5'2. And she-

I shook my head, feeling like a creep for staring. I just met her and I'm already eyeing her.

We made it to our first class. There were only a few kids there, but I was still nervous. Will they like me? Will they accept me? I stiffened at the thought of having them...disappointed in me.

I felt a small nudge on my arm. I looked to see a very nervous Marinette. She tilted her head towards the two front desks right near the door. We took a seat and sat in silence for a while. I was left in my thoughts thinking of how people would like me. Would I be good enough for them at all? Would I be good enough for anyone despite my fame? "Man, I'm scared out my mind..." said Marinette as she sank in her seat. She looked up at me and says" I'm very clumsy, and I haven't done anything embarrassing yet and it's scaring me". She started to chuckle and then that chuckle turned into a very worried and uncomfortable expression. I laughed at this. She looked very scared. Like she was jinxed by the devil when she had said those words.

"Hey, it's the first day of school and you look scares out of your mind, ha!" A girl had said. She had just walked into the class. Marinette looked up at her with wide eyes and sat up straight. "I jinxed myself and I'm hoping for the worst." Marinette mumbled. The girl laughed at this as she took a seat at the desk right behind Marinette. "Girl, you'll be fine, just don't think about to much", the girl tells her. She then reaches out her hand and says "Alya". Marinette takes her hand and says "I'm Marinette". I smiled at Marinette. She seemed to adjust to things easily and made friends look like it was so simple. I wonder what's her secret. What did she do? She was just sulking and made conversation about it. Do I just have to be relatable? Is that it?

" -nd this is Adrien" Marinette said. Alya looked at me and her eyes went wide. "I've seen you before! You're on the magazines! The Agreste magazine! The famous model of a very famous fashion designer" Alya says. I nodded shyly. "yeah..." was all I could muster to say. The girl continued to say how she was a vlogger and how she'd love to interview me. I said yes of course and she squealed talking about how her followers would love her new scope. Marinette gave me a thumbs up and mouthed "you made another friend!" I gave her a blank face before I smiled. I felt happy I made two friends already. They both seemed like they were easy going and excepting.

"Yo, Marinette!" A voice said. I looked up to see a guy. He wore huge headphones that hung on his shoulders, his music playing faintly. Marinette got up and hugged Him. she told him to sit right behind me and he did. "Adrien, Alya, this is Nino. He's a very good friend of mine. He's like a brother to me." She explained.

He shook both our hands, saying a few words. He looked at me for a while and said I looked like I've never been to school. Which I responded this is my first time and he said "that's what she said". Marinette hit his hand and scolded him. I asked what was wrong with what he said and what it meant, and while Marinette tried to stop him form explaining, Alya got up from her chair and covered her mouth and held her down while Nino explained the joke to me. My cheeks went red and Alya and Nino bursted out laughing and stated between breaths how they'd have fun with me. Marinette pouted her face at them, but soon laughed. I laughed with them until the door opened abruptly.

We all turned to see Chloe. A red-haired girl following close behind. Chloe looked at Marinette and Nino and scowled. The looked at Alya and scowled even more, obviously not happy with the people I was around. Much like-

"Adrikins, why don't you sit next to me?" Chloe said, batting her fake lashes innocently. "B-but Chloe you said-"
"Sabrina!" Chloe yelled. While she explained to The girl why they wouldn't be sitting together, Alya leaned down to me, the others leaning in on me too, and asked "Is that your girlfriend?" Giving me a very concerned, yet confused face. I shook my hands and vigorously said no, silent enough that Chloe wouldn't hear. "Then what's with 'Adrikins'?" Nino asked. "Honestly, I don't know. It was a nickname she gave me as toddlers so..." I said, shrugging my shoulders. They all nodded understanding that we were childhood friends, but Alya said she'd be asking more questions later.

Chloe flipped her hair on the red-haired girls face. My face cringed only for a second before reverting back to a small smile. I felt bad for the girl. She looked so betrayed, so I did what I thought was right. "Chloe, I'm happy sitting here. Besides, you've already promise a friend something, and you wouldn't do something that cruel, right?" I said, being manipulative. I knew that this behavior of Chloe's wasn't new, so I used our friendship to make her do better. And it always worked much to my happiness.

She huffed and left to the other side of the classroom, clearly disappointed, but her friend seemed happy, which made me happy. "Dude..." Nino said. "Did you just tame the untamed?" Nino asked, awe evident on his face. Marinette shared the same expression, while Alya was lost, telling us all to tell her what the hell was going on. We just giggled at her reaction, as she whined about how she hated being left in the dark about things.
