Chapter 7

Ariana's POV

Right now, I thought I was about to die in the last place I wanted to go to in the world and I'd not even accomplished anything in life. I decided to make a speech to make myself feel better before I died. I started my speech when we were a quarter way down.

"If we are going to die this way, then I have somethings to confess" I cried out loud as the air from the altitude whipped through my very, very luxurious hair.

"What are you saying? We aren't going to die"

"But it's certain. I can even see all the decomposed skeletons from here. I'm also seeing my life pass before my eyes"

"What are you doing for the sake of our lives?!"

I glared at him for like 3 seconds before saying;

"Firstly, you don't say something on the sake of my life. Secondly, you heard me right, I'm confessing all my misdeeds"

"This isn't going to be good but at least we have 5 and a half more minutes until we crash."

"Good" I said before starting my speech again.

"Dear cruel world! I have somethings that I need to get of my chest!! Firstly, I kissed my ex-best friend's boyfriend and I didn't feel bad, in fact it was so great it turned into a make-out session and then ex best friend found out and choked both of us but I survived."

"Aww... What happened next?"

"Like I said we were both choked but I survived. The boyfriend, not so much."

"Oh! Did he die?"

"No, she wasn't that cruel, but his trachea broke, he was rushed to the hospital and couldn't talk again".

"Aww... I really wanted something extreme to happen. You know, in our line of work, we are always excited about this things"

"Eww... No. You are very weird"

"Don't blame me for it, blame the genes. Also do you have anything else?"

I glared at him again and he straightened up. This time I didn't shout out my monologue.

"And also, I slapped the principal of Tatingtum High"

"Whaaat?!! No way, that guy is the 5th richest guy in the country, He ought to have done something bad for that to happen"

"Yes, he did."

"Okay, tell me"

"Fiiine. It all started when I was going to the admissions office to get my form after I finished the common entrance exam with 98.9 marks"

"Wow! Wait, So you're the national phenomenon that the news identified as A.D. AKA the smartest person in the country"

"Yes, that's me. Fortunately, I didn't even go to that school"

"But that's where the elite of the elite of the elite's children go to school. No offense, but your dad doesn't exactly fit the criteria"

"Firstly, that's what my dad wants people to think. Secondly, due to that, I had to go on scholarship so that I wouldn't expose our wealth"

"So what's your net-worth?"

"Well I could say it's a lot more than your family's despite the fact you're the #1 richest people in the country"

"Wow! Anyway, we were talking about your unfortunate encounter with the principal"

"Yes, when my dad went to collect my admission papers and my mom went to the bathroom, this foolish guy tried to make a move on me"
